Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Man....It was -4 this morning, I think I need to move to a warmer
climate..I hate this ...walking is part of my recovery, but it is
imposible when it is this frikin cold....

Doug
That's cold. I used to live in Alaska and would go to school when it was 20 below with the wind chill factor. Don't remember it too much other than as a kid we couldn't use it as an excuse not to go to school. They were prepared for that kind of cold there.

Give yourself permission to do something else besides walk. Do some push-ups or run up the stairs.

What else do you do for yourself for recovery, Doug?

Lisa....When I get up in the morning, I work out for an hour, 20 min.
of aerobics, and the rest lifting weights..But I really miss the long
walks I would take..For me, exercise is key..

Doug
You're right, excersize is a big part of getting your body healthy. I was talking about your brain...

I hope it warms up quick where you are. Where are you by the way?
I am freezing and it's 50 degrees here...I've had the fire roaring since I woke up. I think I must be coming down with a cold, yesterday it was hot and cold flashes, today, I'm sitting here with a flannel shirt and a blanket.

I know y'all are colder, but you haven't felt cold till you've felt this humid cold.
You're in Florida, right Janet? I've been there in Jan, went to Disney World and you're right, even at 65 degrees, the humidy was so cold. Give me rainy Washington any old day. I couldn't believe the amount of mold and mildew in Orlando.

Hope you warm up soon. Like maybe June?
I live in Madison Wisconsin...
The only thing I really do for my brain....I spend alot of time writing
music...I am the type of person that needs a creative outlet and
I find that through writing music..

Doug
No, Lisa, North Louisiana, about 30 miles from the Arkansas border, I think we have a chance of snow here tonight, but it probably won't stick or amount to anything, just a bunch of crazy rednecks thinking they can maneuver in the snow.

I love my fireplace, but I could almost crawl inside, I'm so cold.
Why did I think you were in Florida, Janet? Sorry about that. My silly little story is even sillier now.

Doug..I've talked to a few that use music to heal. It works. There's something to it.

I've always wanted to go to Wisconsin. Looks so beautiful there.
It really is Lisa...alot of tree's, rolling hills carved out of glaciers.
I have 40 acres of woods...I love to hike around there in the summer..
