Yes , they can bruise easily.....I wonder why you ask though ......mind telling us more??? Hard to give you advice on knowing so little .....But will tell you this ....the babies are in danger ....from neglect, exposure to the drugs , mental instability .... and not knowing if your daughter is very short ...but come on....85 pounds isnt much....even for a midget...
Think of it this way also ....if she is neglecting her own health this badly....how much concern do you think she has for the babies??? veryFEW addicts put their children above their addiction .
To heck with it ....my opinion......get the babies away from her asap...get your daughter into a rehab.....if she refuses ....find a way ...even if it means dragging in the police...or child welfare....
NOW is not the time to err on the side of denial....READ the signs...85 pounds....bruises......2 children ...who have no say....there is obviously money that could be going to the babies ...that is going towards meth ...poor mothering decisions being made by your daughter.....for all you know (if she is smoking everyday) she might even be making her own meth ....have you seen or have a clue what children are exposed to in a home lab. I am a recovering addict and it makes me irate when I see it happen ...
Sorry if I sound dramatic or scare you , but I just feel it might be a seriously poor environment for the little ones .....DO NOT take your concerns lightly , Bless you for having the sense and desire to ask questions ...and seek answers .... I kinda went off without much to go on ....

In no way what so ever am i defending your daughter, and no doubt that she needs help. Be there for her and offer to assist with the children so she can go to rehab. But you need to find out if she is neglecting the kids. Yes so many do BUT not all.
Now Al...........do you think that of me? Nothing has ever come before my children! Ever!! If i had to go without I did! I do agree that i could be a better mom. Hell we all could be better parents, but i have never neglected them. I do not get high in front of them, hurt them emotionally or ever touch them! In fact they don't even get spanked! I do not believe in violence at all! Never do i go to bed unless they are all fast asleep, They get bathed, fed very well( even if i didn't eat) and lots of love! I read at least once a day to them and we do have some sort of activity every day. They do spend the night at sitters house couple times a week and that is my "break" ! Now i am not trying to paint this into a pretty picture.....it is far from that! There is no way that i can be a "perfect" mom with my addiction. But everything i have in me i give to them! I am all they have and i don't want to fu** up their lives. I love them very much lots more than the drug and i'm sure that most of us do. This addiction has no requirements! I do happen to be a mom with an addiction, does not make me any worse of an addict. That sound so stupid! I guess it does! I HATE this drug! But i do love them and NEVER EVER put them in "arms way" THEY ARE BEFORE DRUGS!!!!!! Oh this is scary.........Someday i may!

CAROL....you are out looking for the answers yourself ....you are taking responsibility.....what bothered me most was babs is the one looking ..., not her daughter ......and 85 pounds is very light.....even if short....my experience is when someone is "that" thin ...they arent taking care of themselves or their kids .....it rang an alarm in my head ....and heart .... that is why I was somewhat angry about it
