Think u must be psychic, as I was just thinking of Man W/ Golden Arm,wondering if anyone had read the book, which, by the way is MUCH better than ol'Frank's film--& u mentioned it in a post to Yvonne! Too weird! The book is by Nelson Algren & is very graphic in its descrips of poverty, dope, Chicago, etc. Recommended! My computer was on the fritz so am catchin up w/ the news. Seems like everyone is Bi-Polar & on pills...

I think I did like astrology things on here before...just sun signs....I remember doing Emily's.....that was long ago too.
Man With The Golden Arm the book.....no I never did read it...O.K. honestly I didn't know it was a book first......how weird is that though.....what's the chances of me mentioning that......I'd seen it many times.....we had the movie of it....then once I was with the guy turned me onto dope......we were in some filthy room at his cousins staying there....all we had was a dinky TV....one of those times I thought what am I doing here.....we'd just copped in a really bad neighborhood, and danger will robinson type thing.....what comes on...that movie......odd how I got glued to that screen....kept ignoring him.
O.K. sorry about that weirdness.....I will definately read it Alaska.....thank you so very much....you are very well read.....my daughter reads, and I mean READS.....she loves words......always, always reading....when she was little and we would take walks she'd try to read while walking....LOL.....good for you, and thanks again.
