Hi Cailyn - Just read in another thread that you reached 30 days of sobriety a few days ago...well, here in SoCal we celebrate sobriety milestones for a whole week. So, I wanted to start a thread to just say "Congratulations Cailyn on 30 days" ~ that's huge and that's a big deal and long time not to drink one day at a time....keep on keepin' on..........
Thanks for your encouraging words and all the support that you and other people on this board have given me.
Somedays I didn't think I was going to make it, but if one concentrates on just one day at a time, like they say at AA, then it is easier that way.
I don't really have any thing against AA, there are just some reasons that it is difficult for me to get to meetings right now, reasons I would rather not go into here.
But I am going to try to go more often. Atleast once a week hopefully.
