Can You Guys Help?

I have had no pills (was taking 8-10 Vicodin 10s a day) in 16 days. I used the taper method. My question is about how bad I still feel. My legs are so weak they feel like jello. My eyes feel like burnt holes, and my vision is blurry. Have any of you had these symtoms, and if so, how long did they last? Does anyone have a clue as to when I will feel OK? It is so hard coming to work. I don't really know how I have made it this far.
sherilyn,
im not in complete withdrawal yet...amtapering and sticking firm to it...have a total new attitude right now...from everything ive read it will get better and better each day, you really should look into taking some vitamin supplements though.

Hang on im sure those with more experience will advise you soon. just wanted you to know im here for you.

Welcome Sherlyn. I will bump up the list of OTC meds that have helped everyone with W/D's
Sheralyn,

It does get better, I promise. Whether you taper or not, you will still have the withdrawal symptoms. I think its different for everyone. I tapered too, and my energy and sleep were the last things to return. Try eating bananas for your leg pain, or anything with potassium, for that matter. Take it one day at a time. I hope you feel better.

Sherlyn;

Tough call...the only problems I've still had after 10 days or so was sleeplessness amd fatigue. But nothing as bad as what you're describing. If it's not better soon consider calling your doctor.

Way to go on the 16 days btw!
