Well 2 days after staggered OD of codiene +pararectmol approx 30/500 x 50 ish admitted to hospital after liver pain and general forced pressure from family I was given reversal over 2 days. Sent home on my medry way with stern don't do that again but here's some 30 mg dihydrcodieene so that pesky paracetamol won't kill you quicker. I'm a daughter of a codiene addict so I know the dnmage and hold it has I kept mine a ser et stealing the parents stash from 12 till they died then prescribed for "back pain" for last 8 years..so total 16 years I've dealt with this first time hospitalised for any ill effects. Now attempting to quit cold turkey not an option according to the good old gp so now waiting three weeks to attend addiction team to start a treatment programme of methadone or sub... (can't remember) now looking for advice for people who have possibly sailed down this river of s***e. I'm quite happy to do it but my liver isn't so I need to jack it in. So any help or anything im based in UK so confined by the joyous NHS (rolls the eyes) doctor is pretty useless as see differvent one every week wHo says bad girl be a good if only it was that easy eh ???
