Congratulations Pirate. This must be very exciting for you. It's a new beginning for you. Like any new job, there will be stresses but stay strong and always remember NOTHING is worth taking that first drink. You and I are about the same in our length of recovery. Congrats on that too. Thanks guys. This job is only for 6 months during the tourist season. I love it there. It is in a museum and we are doing a project on a resettlement program that happened back in the 60's. That is where people were relocated by government from isolated villages to bigger centers. We are doing research on the program which includes history of these villages and interviewing the people who resettled. It is SO interesting. It is nice to have something positive to wake up to in the morning. Now if only I could get my personal life straightened out all would be wonderful but unfortunately I still have negative issues to deal with in my marriage and other issues as well. But I am still VERY grateful for the good things I do have. Believe me trimmer I don't think there is anything that can make me drink I have stayed away this long from alcohol with some very trying times and I am confident I have the strength to continue my life as a sober woman. I am glad you are staying sober as well and congrats on that as well. Dodsworth if I can crawl out the pit man so can you BELIEVE me when I tell you that it is possible and it will come.Thank you all ((((( )))))God bless and take care
