VW Girl....glad you could get a chuckle. It really does feel like that. What the hell??? No pun intended I swear! We haven't even been going out to Laughlin! Besides the fact that house is still under remodel hell...but it has been on average 122 degrees F. Sometimes in the summer if you are wearing flipflops they actually stick to the asphalt. No s***!!! It's just too hot! It makes you feel really sick to your stomach...then you try and cool off by jumping in the river and it is soo damn cold that you feel like your heart is gonna stop! LOLOL LMAO!!! Hope you are having some nice "you" time!
P.S. I don't know how to do the quote thingys either! Hey at least you know how to post pictures! Hell it took me a week of posting before I figured out how to get the little picture by my name... DOH!! LOL

You are so funny VWGirl...are you serious about the freezer? We don't have a pool in Costa Mesa but we do in Laughlin. We just had one put in back in December. I hate the river cuz it's cold and has fish and bugs and other things I am afraid of in there....and it's just balls hot in Laughlin so a pool was necessary. If you ever go through Laughlin you are welcome to come for a dip!
I have a little baby frog that lives in it. I haven't named him yet because I wanted to make sure that he survived before I got all attached to him. The temperature is regulated so he shouldn't boil (LMAO) and it is salt water so he shouldn't choke! LOL... We go back to check progress on the remodel on Friday so I will be checking the pool first thing for him and see if he is still there. Cross your fingers!!!!! He is sooo cute!

You are not missing much, it's pretty much only casinos and homes. I love it out there because it is soooo quiet at night! We live right on the tip of the state of Nevada. From our back terrace you can see Nevada, Arizona and California....Here in Costa Mesa we live close to the airport so it is always noisy...our neighbors are rude and traffic is horrible. Out there it's just a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle and recharge the batteries. You are welcome to come anytime my cyber friend. I mean that sincerely! When are you coming through Costa Mesa??

Hi Val, thank you so much for the gracious invitations. I'll let you know when I come out your way. Your place in Laughlin sounds great...I live in RB and it so congested...you've seen it I'm sure, houses just crammed together and no parking but, this is where I grew up and there are also a lot of positive things about living here, I guess that's why so many people do...
