Hi,I just thought i'd come on to the forum and share with you the strange goings on that have been happening to me lately.I've now been clean of Heroin for 17 months,Instead taking Methadone daily and going to the clinic once a month for my script,Which is all good.So every now and then i have to give them a urine sample,Which again is all good as they are crystal clear.
Then a month ago i was at the clinic when they pulled out my urine sample result,Which to my amazement was positive for Heroin (for those who dont know opiates can be detected in urine if youve been taking certain pain killers,So they check for something called A-6,Which can only be present if youve used Heroin),I was gobsmacked,And began to protest my innocence.We agreed that it was somehow contaminated at the hospital and i gave another sample,What happened the other day when i was back at the clinic?Yes youve guessed it,The sample was positive for A-6 and therefore positive for Heroin use.I again said how i'd not used and was believed,Just,Although she was now saying how unlikely it would be for the sample to be contaminated for a second time.
Where i'm at now is that a third sample has been sent but this time for a much more scrutinous test,And i'm dreading the result,Which is ridiculous as i'm clean as a whistle.So is my body a heroin factory,Or are my sample's being tampered with?Either way i'm spooked by this now.
Has anybody else out there had this kind of trouble?And can you recommend another drugs test i could take to clear my name?
a mate of mine in prison had a positive test for opiates,and all cos he was taking pain killers for his teeth, as he had problems due to long term amphetamine abuse..i dont know if you are taking any meds for pain.but if you are i would stop taking the meds 3days before your drug test.
the meds if you are taking nay could contain opiates... ie codeine,kapake, co-proximol also tramadol -all contain oipates.. any pain killer with ine in it is opiate based from what i can gather..and they can be very addictive also..
