Can someone tell me if some of these signs are crystal meth? Also what is the amount of people who do oxycontins with the meth? I'm a recovering addict, but I don't know too much about this.
I know someone who is about seriously 95 pounds. I know she had an oxycontin habit. She's had those things like burns on her nose, and lips.
Cleaning up around my property I have found two crack pipes. At different times. Then these little glas things with lids. One had black stuff in the bottom.
This person a few years ago gave me something like on the down low in my hand. It looked like almost rock candy. I go "What's this?" She said just cut it up and snort it. Well, I was a heroin addict. I don't know nuttin about what crystal is looking like, but know crack is in those tiny baggies. I threw the crap out when she gave it to me. This person continually tells me her sister is a crack head and she has to help her, and she might go to rehab with her because she needs someone to be with her. WHATCH YOU TALKIN BOUT WILLIS? Like I'm a stupid a*s? LOL Well I am. I mean if everyone could just have a family member come to rehab that'd be nice.
I'm asking this because right before it started snowing this chick was on her hands and knees in the cold, and in the dark. I was a little shocked when I came upon her because it was plain strange. I asked her what she was doing, and she said weeding. O-KAY.
Would I be able to smell crystal through the wall? Just wondering if I'm paranoid or not. Thanks.

As far as the weeding, well I am sure she was doing something and sadly probably has no idea what.
I don't remember my husband being insane like that when he used crank, more obsessive in thougth than action.....Would talk about the same thing over and over, would drive me insane....
Now with the heroin he is like OCD insane, must move, must clean......whats up with the cleaning.....I don't think I have ever caught him nod out.

Back in the day as they say I had friends who did crank. That's why all these different names are messing me up. I recall they'd start a project such as tuning in a radio, and spend hours on it. Like just the one project. I remember too my friend getting those big, ugly cysts on her face, and picking them.
Oh, on heroin I would clean my head off. I'm by nature a messy person. Not about my personal appearance, but my stuff. I'm really scattered. Chaotic. Well my entire house would be in such order when I was using. Although I nodded alright with lit ciggerettes.
Some people respond differently to different drugs. What's that called? Synergistic effect? So that's not out of the ordinary what your husband is doing. It gets to be you feel good so you try to keep order I think. If I had my morning bags I would get all dolled up. I mean people would tell me how great I looked. Well, yeah cause I was so high I felt fabulous.
It's all good until it goes bad. Then you get sick, and lay in your own crap for five days, and back to messy Marvin or Martha.
Thanks though about the crystal. At the first find of the pipe I figured maybe somebody coming by just ditched it. Then it was again, and then those tiny bottles. In different spots too. That ain't no co-INKY-dink.

Those crank days are long gone, it is more of a party then anything else. And you talked of the smell. Well crank use to stink to high heaven, like cat piss, back in the 80's, and that was just rocky/powder form....I don't know what meth smells like now, smoked. That is a good thing I am sure.
The heroin he is getting there and I hope in time for him it will be just a distant memory, that the call it seems to have will stop screaming his name......You wrote some stuff on the heroin board about purity......my god my husband's addiction counsellor told him that where he used to buy is the best and purest in the states. And since I am right across the bridge from you I know you understand where I mean......lol
And that cleaning, my house is so clean, and he would clean behind me. I would look at him like, you are going nuts. The car had to shine, the truck.......My girlfriend and I see 2 different worlds with this drug. Her bf tends to be face down somewhere and nods off all the time with lit cigarettes, but he is obsessive with everything being clean as well.

Bryn- just a tip I found out from my hubby who is recovering from meth- you cant smell it, even when they smoke it. and not when it is snorted, either. when you smoke meth it doesnt actually "burn" like pot, but it "vaporizes" straight into your lungs. Doctors havent even begun to find out what that would do to your lungs long term. when my husband snorted he always complained of a stuffy nose. Thats about all I know. I still to this day have never seen crystal in anything but pictures.
when she told you she was "weeding" she was most likely looking for shards "meth" that she may have dropped earlier. when i was addicted i would spend hours upon hours, looking through my carpet with flashlights in the dark. i can imagine how creepy that would look to someone walking in on me.
