hi everyone, as some of you know, my dad was on heroin and making my life HELL. i picked him up after a 7 day methadonetaper detox. looks great, he feels great. he starts IOP tomorrow, wish him luck. please , please pray for him that he stays this way. he does it by temptation and as long as thr "wrong people" stay away i think he will be fine. i oinly have a little of faith cause this sint the first time.......Pray for Dean my dad, i love him and he is my life

..As bryn said..you seem like a caring daughter and you have a lot of love for your dad..as long as hes got you by his side..that half the battle won..the rest is up to him..i wish him well and hope he finds the strength to stay clean..but you,ve also gotta take care of yourself..Robbie..

You and your dad will be in my prayers. Bless your heart for caring about him so much. Do you go to meetings (alanon or naranon) for yourself? I highly recommend them.
