Dad's Operation -tuesday

Oh well the time is almost at hand for my Father. The 20th they do the reversal of the second bag from first operation due to the complications.

Its a major operation and again will be hospitalized for 3-5 days. The pain from the first operation is still lingering and now its going to be hell all over again.

He is scared angry frustrated and who knows what else. The initial surgery went much worse than we first were told. So his recovery time and pain is asinine.

He is the opposite of me. Cant take opiates. If forced Demerol but they make him sick just not as much as some of the others they tried.

I have no clue how he deals with the pain

Again its not my Dad I worry as he is just palin 'Tough" its my Mom. It all sucks unfair and I just pray this is the last operation he ever has.

Cause if it all goes perfect the recovery is going to be tough and for the rest of his life he wears a bag.

(My dad had his bladder and prostate removed due to cancer) Then on top of it you have to be checked quarterly for the possibility of the cancer returning.

But it is what it is.

Any prayers are appreciated. Especially for my Mom. She is having a rough time. This has aged her so much. It kills me. She is a very cool lady.

Hi Jeff...I will add you and your dad and especially your mom to my daily prayers. Keep strong as your mom will probably lean on you for emotional support. Sounds like you are a great son.

Hey Jeff...sorry about this. It must be a really hard thing to watch your loving parents suffer. I am sure you are a true blessing to them. Just be there and be you!
