What do they eat you ask....Does anyone else have a pet they want to tell us about...........
Good-evening sweetheart, how are you doing? How is your sweet little girl doing?Hope all is well for both of you.
Well my bigger snake eats rats,I buy them frozen from the pet store and when it's time to feed it I thaw it and put it in the aquarium, also Davey they don't eat everyday like most animals do,they eat once every 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the snake and the size.My daughter's snake is still small so it eats little mice.I always found them fasinating,I love them, they are low maintenance, after you feed them 3or4 days later they will go to the bathroom and that's mostly it till the next time they eat,it's realy easy.If you have any other questions then let me know. When I buy a house in 2yrs,I will get myself a Doberman Pincher,BEAUTIFUL kind of dog.
Do you have a pet,and if so what is it?
If you don't have an animal, what animal would you have liked or like to get one day?
This is not only for Davey if anyone else has pet's that they love please let us know cause they are part of our family also, and they realy do know how we feel.
Does anyone else have snakes or any other kind of exotic animals?
Lot's of love to all,and have a good noght's sleep.
Always a friend Teena
Hi Teena! I'm not allowed pets where I'm living now. I did have a guennie pig for awhile. His name was Sid Vicious. He had a mo-hawk. He lived up to his name too. If I got him out of his cage and I didn't have a carrot for him, he would bite me. I ended up giving him to a family with kids. I couldn't give him enough attention. I still see him every now and then and he's still vicious. I had a dog (Sable) for 13 years. I miss her alot. She was with me all the way through my active addictions. There were times I don't think I would have gone on if I hadn't had Sable,s unconditional love. She was always there for me. You know what I mean? She really was my best friend. I miss her alot!!! Snakes are interesting but I guess I'm more into pets I can cuddle. Snakes are cold-bloded. Right? PEACE, Shirley
I have a Totally black cat. If the lights are off you can only see his green eyes.
Named him Cassidy.
The driver of the Merry Prankster bus,a bus that drove early DeadHeads to different shows and events through Northern Ca.was a old beatnik by the name of Neal Cassidy. He was made famous in Jack Keoracs famous book"On The Road"
I named my cat after him, because this cat was homeless and lived on the road(all over the Bronx) with a bunch of other cats before a nun and my sisterinlaw took him in,and gave him to me.

I have the best dog in the world.........her name is Grace, named after the jeff buckley cd.......she turned 8 on april 26, and is a schipperke/lab mix.......my grace has been with me through all my addiction and used to get so depressed when i was high. She defintely knew. Plus I used to "use" her a lot when copping, pretending i was just walking my dog while waitng for the cop man, looked a bit less inconspicious <?spelling>. We also have two cats and four kittens.....who wants a kitten ??.............these felines terrorize my Grace, poor baby.

BTW...whoever wrote yesterday about "stalking the veins" of the guy in rehab..... I LOVED that........was telling a freind last night and we had a great laugh over it.....not REALLY funny, but being an ex-junkie we could surely relate.....

Hello Teena, aint got a pet at the moment, but Sian is getting to that stage of"Dad when can i get a puppy"so im planning on getting a dog[Boxer]for her next year when shes 8yr.I will be getting it off a mate who has a female one,so between us weve planned a little breeding for the new yr.weve even got a name lined up "Moe" as in the bar owner from the Simpsons. We did have a gold fish called snapper but he had an untimley demise about 6mnths.ago,followed by a v.solemn burial in the back garden, cross, flowers the whole nine yards.Hi Jack your cat Cassidy must be a fair old age by now, they carry on forever them cats.As for the feeding of yer snakes Teena i kind of reckoned that would be the set up,with the rodents&all, its all good eh.Anyway pet lovers all the best ...Davey
I have a mitred conure parrot 15 years old, we belive it'a a female however you can't tell parrots sex. It eats a hearty parrot mix dried grains, corn, peanuts, sunflower seeds, and other small seeds. It loves red grapes and carrots, eats a lot of table food to. Cooked eggs, popcorn, crackers, mutli grain cereals. It can't talk but, it makes sounds like a chicken. It clicks it's break and squaks a lot. Thia bird HATES to be caged, it mostly runs the top of it's cage and sits on a free standing pearch the only time it goes freely in it's cage is to eat otherwise it's just romps around. BIRDS POOP a lot we keep a clear plastic sheet under the cage and pearch that has to be swept off and moped everyday. This bird is very people friendly likes to be talked to. It has tons of personality sometime it will put it's foot out like it wants to get on your hand when you get close it puts it's foot back and turns away from you. If ignored it will get down from the cage and hunt you down on foot. My son has hermit crabs they eat a pre packaged hermit crab food. I have a painted turtle who eats floating turtle sticks, dried shrimp, and small fish guppies and goldfish. The turtle has special uva uvb lighting is in a 30 gal tank. My boyfriend has a 10 year old ball python it eats 3 white live mice every few weeks is in a 50 gal tank with heat rocks and climbing branch.
my partner and i have a cat called sylvester ( nicknamed : PESTer } l.o.l. we do love him but on a night time he can be a real pest.we haven't got a catflap so we let him out manually then 2 min later he wants to come in then the cycle repeats itself. although sometimes he jumps up and opens the door himself..
Hello to everyone, sorry for not replying sooner but the days here in Montreal are real humid and have been spending the days at the pools or beaches with the kids.
Thanks to everyone for answering this post, sometimes we don't think of our pets, but their great if we realy think about it.
When we are feeling low, they feel it,when were happy their there wagging or meaowing that they too are happy. They are great cause they feel us,some people say that it's not true but I belive they can, mind you snakes don't even recognize their master's so they say.
I'm realy glad everyone wrote a little something about the creatures we tend to forget, sometimes.
Hope all is well with everyone and have a great week.

i have 2 shi-tzus, my little girl peppy and her brother rocko. when rock was a baby, like 7 months old, he ate a rock the size of a quarter. i know this cause one morning he was in the yard trying to go potty. well he was haveing a VERY HARD time. so i walk down to see what the hell is going on? so it looked like he had a hard poopie stuck in his but...no it was a f-ing rock i had to pull out. he had to go to the vet later that morning to make sure he didn't tear his intestine or anything. that is one of many stories in rocko's crazy life. silly little boy. peppy is my perfect little angel
my sister has 2 s***-zu's a male and a female and she breeds them...seems to be the same...the boy gremlin is CRAZY and the girl gracie is totally chill!!
about 3 years ago, i had an louisiana lobster, but when i moved house he got sick and i lost him... he used to fascinate me one morning i woke up and he had shed his old skin, it was in perfect form the only thing is that his old skin never had any eyes ha ha, it looked like there was two lobsters sitting in the tank... my daughter would have loved him but he went just before he was born.... i have thought about getting a snake many times but the thought of it getting out the tank would frighten the life out of me........ Maybe when all this s*** is over i will get my daughter another lobster, and call him laine, in memory of my last one, there great to have and dont take to much looking after.. bye, tracie x
Man, That Ms Tres didn't say nothing about her favorite cat that passed on or werever the heck it went.
She had a cat with three freaking legs. Called it Franky after Frank Sinatra cause he had blue eyes. Well, that cat freaked me out. LOL I'm thinking she should have named it freaky or gimpy or something. Not no Sinatra.
That right there was disrespect to the greatest entertainer ever lived. She's lucky some mofia dude didn't take that cat. Three legs. Ewww. She loved that cat so much too.
Then the night before she drove me to detox she had all these kittens all over the place. I had my bag that night, and my morning bag saved. I actually could sleep cept this one little runt of a kitten jumped the hell on me all night. Them little claws hurt. I'd push it off me, and the bugger just came back for more.
Her dog, Gracie though. That dog is the sweetest, loveliest, honey bunny in the world. She was depressed when we were using, and how many times did we rush to the car to meet the dealer, and we'd tell her to HURRY UP. A sweet dog. Hurry up.
Now she's like an entirely different dog. She is happy, and Tres's treasured loved pet. Love Grace.
