I'm thinking about going to a diet center and getting Fastin. I got them once before but that's when I was very active in my addiction and I always traded them for morphine. I think they're about the mildest diet pills on the market. I'm not sure if they're amphetamine or not. If anybody out there knows anything about Fastin, I'd appreciate your feedback. I've been trying to lose weight for so long and now that I'm single, I really want to lose. I don't want to come off of "H" and then get strung on Fastin! I've never really got into a speedy buzz, though so I might be all right on that score. Dazed and Confused, Shirley

Water, Water,Water- -a little exercise- - go for a walk every night, ride a bike to the store instead of jumping in the car. Water ,water ,water. You can eat regular except, skip the butter, bread, and easy on the sweets.
I lost 35 lbs while on mdone,(after I gained 50 pounds from mdone in the beginning)
It aint easy because as addicts we always want instant gratification. We want a pill to take that will work like magic &" boom" we lost the weight.
I dont know if that stuff works but people have been takin stuff like that for years
with mixed results.
I played sofball,coached a little league team , used a bicycle to get around and drank gallons of water- -the ice cream was the hardest thing to put down.
But---- it worked.over a peroid of time . Sure I could stand to lose a few more and tighten up, but hell Im 50 years old and I do the best I can.
Our metabolisms are all different - Im no doctor, but be careful
- and dont worry to much-worrying leads to depression, and that is no good!

Thanks once again, Jack! I was going to slip back into my old habit of using drugs to fix all my problems. I am drinking alot of water, now and I'm exersizing. (not as much as I shoud, though) The thing is.....now that I've finally cut off my relationship with Ted. (we've been seperated for months but were talking everyday until recently), I feel the need to really get rid of all this baggage!! I don't mind being alone. I'm not one of those people who has to be in a relationship. BUT........I don't want to be old, alone and FAT. Now that's a depressing thought. I start a job this week, washing dishes in a busy bar and grill. Maybe that will help me lose weight. I hope they don't offer free meals!Ha! Ha! That would be just my luck!!
