Does Anyone Want To Discuss Meds?

Anyone want advise on withdrawals or relapsing...or something pain meds related?
I got a question you might be able to answer for me......I put liquid benadryl in the frig by accident, wasn't in long......think it is ok or should I dump it......haven't used it yet was waiting till I went to the pharmacy tomorrow to ask....
Hi Tina-

I dont think it would hurt it. I used to always put cough meds in the fridge cuz my kids liked it cold !!

How are you doing today?? And hows the rest of the crew? Hope all of you have a great weekend.

Love ya,

Marie
Hey T - Dephenhydramine should be stored at room temp....

You should be ok using it though...

Having said that, I don't know how to access stability data on Benadryl...
Hey Marie,
How are you darling, we are all fine here!. Alittle nasty out, hate this weather. We just can't get snow like everyone else, got to be rain! You have a great one too.
Love Yah,
Tina
Yeah I know Eddie, thats why I asked.....think I will just chuck it and get a new bottle!
eddie..any idea about ultramm??
I have been taking it very rarely, only as need for pain, but any idea about how long the withdrawl symptoms should last (if any)
I felt like crap this week and was wondering if it could have anything to do with the fact that I don't take it only a daily basis like Idid before..
Kerry
Hey Eddie I dumped it and got a new bottle during half time.....Can't take the chance it won't work and my other bottle just ran out......It is something the baby needs daily and at a moments notice.
Hi,
Kerry, I posted this last night to someone, didn't feel like typing it again so I'll just paste what I said last night..lol..Take care....Hope this helps.........Bob

Hi,
I was just reading a bit before turning in. And just wanted to say yes, Ultram
( Tramadol, Ultracet ) is addictive. When I came out of rehab my urologist put me on it for kidney stone pain. Told me it was safe. Unfortunately he didn't do the proper research on it before perscribing it to me. One of the side effects from it is seziures, rare maybe but other than myself, I've heard of quite a few people taking seziures while on it. After I had my seziure I remembered I had brought home a paper from rehab that had a list of drugs suggested to stay away from for addicts. Sure enough Ultram was on it. Also, the Medical Association is working on ( may have done it by now ) getting Ultram reclassified as a narcotic.
For me the amounts I had to take to get high from it was alot, but it did effect me the way Percocet, Vicoden and Vicoprofen etc.. did. I did do research on Ultram and did find that it is not recomended for anyone with a history of drug abuse. I went through hell with Ultram and the withdraws from the amounts I took were horrible. There are different strength pills for it, just like any other and can also be given as an injection as well. I hope this helps a little.
Take care.......................................God bless.....................................Bob

eddie
do you know how long to expect withdrawal from ultram. I was taking 6 a day for around a year, and I am having a horrible time 7 days later
Eddie,
I am currently taking Vicodin for pain control. I was on Oxy but I weaned it off because it was horrible. The Vicodin I am weaning as well cuz it doesn't help really. Unless the cycle is extreme and then it helps just take the edge off which is alot when you are in a state of extreme pain.
Do you know if Sub. is used to treat chronic pain patients. If so how effective it is and what the serious side effects would be? I need my pdr! I don't think it is all that great for my body to keep weaning off this stuff and then starting again. I do it to keep from a high tolerance. I wish there was some way to treat the pain without having to take something addictive.
Thanks,
