I was reading a share from an online recovery group I'm in today, and the quote I put in the topic title was in the message.

It was exactly what I needed to hear today. Maybe it will help someone else too.

Don't quit before the miracle.

that's always been my pattern in the past - that's what I'm working on changing this time because nothing changes if nothing changes.

I've heard that one, yeah. Over hear they say, "Don't quit five minutes before the miracle," as well as a number of other variations, but it reminds me to always have Hope. THAT is something that was restored for me--along with laughter (not self-depricating but genuine) and compassion.

well i had a little miracle happen not long after I posted this

went to a meeting and my ex-sponsor was there. Made my day.

I hadnt'contacted her yet - mainly cause of ego and pride, but my HP took care of that and placed her in my path anyway.

Also I have a new sponsor - well actually 2. A f2f one and an online one. Lots of miracles.
