Last night before going to bed I was watching the news. News story comes on about deadly heroin mixed with Phentonal "which i 1st heard about on this board last year" i'm in the usa apperantly it's just now in my direct area. There have been 6 overdoses 1 death in a very small time frame. They talk about how usage nation wide is on a increase exc. They started showing needles in back street alley's. The showed cooking up in a spoon. The kicker i had to turn the t.v off they SHOWED heroin pre mixed already in a needle. I got crazy feelings that shocked me i felt a cold sweat come on and queezy feelings in my chest. I'm 15 nearly 16 months clean i am pretty shocked at my reaction to seeing it just on t.v. I went to bed I dreamed I was living with my ex boyfriend again and our old room mate. They were cutting up a line I told them I only wanted a lil. They were telling me no cause i did not help buy it stuff. I was so MAD I started screaming at them I have not used in a year YOU OWE me a lil!. I was begging them 4 a tiny bit. I use to frenquently have using dreams they stoped a while ago. Last night was tough for me. I don't think the news knows showing that effects addicts that way. In a odd way i also felt scared seeing it it made me think of Alex in "a clock work orange" after getting out of that treatment place how things repulsed him he use to do, but, even over that feeling was a lil craving.
what area do you live in? just curious where the abd dope is again...my guy has drug dreams all the time...he has been clean about 2 months...not that long...but he is still sufferring with the abd dreams...when we watch intervention and the show is about heroin...he cant always watch it all the way through...same thing...they show needles and ppl shooting up etc...good for you and all your clean time!! thats awesome!!

Whenever I see something on the ground that's light blue I admit I check a bit closer.......then that night I dream of using again.
Sorry that happened to you. That Fentanyl in the heroin is all over. We had a bunch of deaths in Philly because of this. In fact the emergency medical guys went and asked if they could use more of that drug that brings you back. Can't think of the name right now. Narcon I think it is. They've been administering it, and nada. Alot of people died because of that. With this fentanyl/heroin mix some EMT's actually hit the person with more. Not policy. So, after they brought this plea to the city they FINALLY O.K.'d it.
You're doing wonderful, Hero Girl. Try now to focus on how glad you are you quit it. Thank the heavens you're still not out there. Both you, and me, and everyone here knows if we were still out there we'd be hunting for that stuff.

That stuff has finally made it to NY-NJ- under the name "Infinity"- Last time sh** like this was on the streets (at least that was made public) was the "Tango & Cash stamped bags back in the 80,s.
Now ,if I can remember fuc*ed up things like that ,is it any wonder that the drug dreams really never go totally away?

Still around here in NJ. But they are not making a big deal out of it. Seems they talked so much warning everyone to be careful that they noticed a rise in activity and trafic in some of the worst of drug areas. Did they actually expect anything different to happen?
