Im curious about Suboxone which main component is buprenophine, a partial opiate agonist. Does this show up on a standard 8 panel drug screen for opiates?

Hi, im glad you are clean and suboxone is working for u. I was basically using oxycontins 40mg 6x daily. I never wanted to commit suicide, but when i ran out, withdrawls were suicide enough. I was sick of being sick and tired.
NOW, i also suffer from refractory depression, social phobia, anxiety, sleep disorder. I am on abour 5 meds, some would say im still using, but i tell you not, i feel so much better, i dont abuse my meds, i take them as perscribed, Basically im only addicted to Opiates. I used to be addicted to GHB, but i kickeed that via 8month rehab, then was clean for 9 months from g, then i hurt my back , got a script for percocet, and then i was off to the races.
To be brief, im taking the following:
Suboxone 8mg 2x daily
Adderall 20mg 2x daily (diagnosed with add)
Klonopin 1mg 3x daily ( for anxiety, sometimes from adderall)
Ambien 10mg ( For Sleep)
Lexapro 10mg (depression, yet i need my dose upped to 20)
Without these medications, i know id be using or just laying around sleeping and doing s***. I know how my body works. I run out of oxys, the first day or 2 im sleeping laying around, then i get sick, ache dysphoric, and really start to withdrawl, and i will do anything for a fix. That could get me into trouble. I dont like to steel. And this addiction took me there.
Anyway, i just bought the book Natural Highs, By hyla Cass. Its amazing. Get it, i tend to slowely switch over to natural remodies, but i have to read this book first and try and see.

i would like to know if u get withdrawals as i am on methadone and trying to get prescribed subutex. I have been on meth 14mls only for bout 5 yrs and withdraw when i cut down just 1 bloody ml. it may be coz i have hep c but doctors say there is no link. i keep getting minor withdrwals for no reason and it stops me doing things. i was told u only need to b on subutex 4 coupla months and then on. my doctor at meth clinic (UK) wont prescribe subutex as thinks it will be used illegally. my key worker thinks that is crap and is encouraging me to write to drug treatment agencies and complain. Any advice bout subutex, how to get it and withdrawal probs. I have not had anything except meth for 6 yrs so its not like i am using on top. swear!! x
Andi, it sounds like you need to get on suboxone, like neuromind, bootgrl and me. Hello fellow suboxonites!!! I'm glad to find someone else who is taking them. I started in Feb. and I'm taking 2 8-mgs. and 1 2-mg. per day. It's a godsend because I couldn't quite the pills (hydrocondone) because of the w/d's. Now I feel like a normal person! With no w/d's.
There is a difference between subatex and suboxone. Some one more knowledgeable than me on this board can tell us the difference. I know suboxone has something "attached" to it so you don't get high. you can't get high, even if you take something else (I beleive). Good luck to andi, and please keep in touch bootgrl and neuro!

Hi, I stumbled upon this forum while looking for more info about the Suboxone I just started, and I sure hope it works. I've been running around for the last 2 years getting Lortab, Vicodin ES, etc, up to 40 10 mil. a day, and I am so sick of that B.S. Like alot of you, I have a full time job and many family obligations, so I can't expend any more time on the stupid pills, that's for sure! I'd taken my first painkiller in 1999 because my back is truly wrecked, and it just escalated from there. Did in-patient detox twice, and was clean for only 1 month the first time and 6 months the second, and here we are again. I took my first dose of Suboxone yesterday afternoon, and another just 1 hour ago, and I don't feel like my skin is crawling, or my eyes stinging or blurry, so I guess it's working?
