Easter Sunday

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. And he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen ; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you." (Mark 16:2-7)

One of the few days that I go to church> not big on religion but this is a "biggie" for us Catholics
Happy Easter to all

Dear Jack,

Glad to hear you're going to church. You'll get some special graces for going, you know? My son is going too. He only goes about 3 times a year now unfortunately....Easter, Christmas, and Mother's Day.

HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!!!!!

Love,
Susan
Happy Easter Jack, Davey and Susan, and everybody else yet to log on! I'm having a chocolate free Easter - got those extra pounds to shift! Done my work out, and stood on the scales - I've dropped 7lbs this week, so I'm pretty happy. I'm going fishing with the little one and her dad today. It'll either be an unmitigated disaster or a really good day. Before I had the baby, I was gonna be someone who didn't let having kids get in the way of having fun, days out etc... But I've had my initiation now, and have realised that everything takes 10 times as long as you expected it to, and by the time you get out of the door it's time to come home again. You can't argue with a red faced squealing baby!

Anyway, hope everybody has a great Easter, whether they spend it going to mass, eating chocolate, or out fishing!

love

Happy Easter to all. I do not post alot, , but I read all of your stories and enjoy them! It is nice to hear from other people recovering from all over the world!
Yo, where's the egg hunt? Where's my chocolate bunny? That Sian, and Rowanne better hand over part of the loot.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

I went to SAINT SKIP. Hope ya had us in your prayers Jack. Chalck up another Roman Catholic missed Mass today, but I prayed. Gotta get to Mass. Confession first though.

Enjoy all especially with the little ones. Susan I am sure the grand babydoll is getting dressed spiffy as well. It's a time to reflect as our good guest has mentioned we are in recovery and we have God to thank for that.
Did anyone dye eggs?

Just thought of that.

Nothing beats those old kits where ya got fizzy tablets and mixed 'em up with vinegar. Always a fight over who got what color. Who got to hold the flimsy metal egg holder which was junk. Ultimately a sibling would decide to do the ol tye dye egg and pollute the colors making them turn brown and stuff.

Egg dying was a parents worse nightmare. It was the best.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!

BF's parents bought us each an egg but then today they went to lunch today where there was a little boy and so BF's egg was seized to give to him ha ha ha!!! (they were boy and girl eggs..... as over here they have a little present inside and so are made for either boys or girls!!) So he lost his egg!!! Not that that stopped him tucking into mine!!! We went to the park after with rollerblades that we bought yesterday.... was fun and good to work off that chocolate!!

Didn't make it to church though....over here everyone's catholic...just not practising!

Hope everyone had a great day
