I've been fine. Busy as anything with work. I go to 5-7 AA meetings per week and I help open up our meeting place during the week. I am there at 6:30 in the morning. I make coffee and greet people. Can you believe that? Elim the Timid goes out there and schmoozes...
My parent have been ill so I have been out of town alot to help care for them. My father just had surgery yesterday, he is doing well. I will be down again this weekend.
To be there, present and responsible? Thank AA, thank some great sponsors and thanks to some folks here on this board. I like how they do it, day in-day out....

Its because of AA that my parents even want me around as a caretaker. They have their child. I won't say they have their child back because I am not sure I was truly around even before the drugs.
I think this is truly the first time I have really been present....
