Yep, she is growing so fast. I'm going to try her with a rusk tonight - her first real food! She's just drunk 11oz of milk in one feed, so I think she's ready for it. She looks like her father, don't you think? Fortunately she seems to have a chilled out nature, like me.

awwwww-diff shes a beautifull baby--dont put her in the sun-she has the same complexion as i-but she wears it emmensly cuter--LOL im a yank too--and i was wondering the same thing--you have to interpret for us in the states were a little off-or maybe thats just me--you sure have alot to stay healthy for.

Ha, it loks like the "shadows" out of the Omen films, doesn't it? Don't worry, there's not a stake with my name on it! I think thats the light reflecting off the mirror in the hall. God I look fat, don't I? I've lost about 7lbs since that photo was taken. Babies sure ain't good for your figure, but as long as the scales keep moving in the right direction. I'm up really early this morning coz my boyfriend went out at 5. They've opened the cockle beds for the first time this year, so he's out earning money, instead of spending it, for a change.
And rusks, don't you get Farleys Rusks in the states? There like a sort of biscuit that you soak and mash up in warm milk for babies. They are really tasty. I think that more parents eat them than babies! I had planned on trying her with one last night, but she crashed out and fell asleep, so I'll try her today. She's a little young for them, but she's like 97th percentile, so she ain't like a 13 week old baby.
As for her skin, I think she looks pale next to us, coz we're pretty suntanned. I think she'll have easy tanning skin. When you see her next to her cousin, who is really pale, you can see her skin isn't as sensitive as you might think. But don't forget, she's brand new, so she's never had much exposure to the sun. Whenever we go anywhere and its sunny, she's lathered in factor 50, with sun hat and sunshade, so I've kept her really protected. When we were in the Isle of Man, she did catch the sun on her cheeks one day, but she was a little red for a night, but her skin went browner the next day. Check out her little crew cut! And no, I don't shave her head, biker-stylee, it just grows that way!

it's very cool to be able to see your family!. I love having a face to put with the name. Thanks for sharing that. I wanna show you my kids and rob. Hopefully more people will share pics i know bunnyrocker wants to show off her lil girl. Bunnyrocker you just need to go to photobucket upload the pic it will give you a image html copy paste it's real eazy. WOW diff the 97th percentile i'ld say she's ready to try some baby foods. Robbie eats 2-3 times a day he's pretty avrage kid in the 60% range he's 18 pounds 27 inches. He started solid food like baby cereal at 4 months at 4 and 1/2 months he ate stage 1 baby foods. He's now eating really really mashed up fruits and veggies he snacks on these real hard cookie type things called Biter Biscuits he's teething. He's starting sleeping better to some nights he sleeps a whole 6 hours lol.

My little angel cake had a bad day today. She went to the Drs for her jabs - I think I cried nearly as much as she did. It breaks my heart when she cries, coz she hardly ever cries - I think I've only ever seen real tears 3 or 4 times since she was born. The way she looked at me, oh it just slaughtered me on the spot. I feel her pain more acutely than my own. I had to ring her father and ask him to come and meet us from the surgery, coz I was so upset. She's snuggled up with her dad right now. The poor lamb keeps having flash backs. She suddenly remembers and her bottom lip starts wobbling. Part of me doesn't want to take her for her next lot. She was ok for her first jabs, but she really didn't like these ones. But it's only a day, and I'd feel a thousand times worse if I didn't take her, and she got ill with something she could have been vaccinated against. I can't bear it when she's sad, and her father is almost as bad as me. I wish I could remove all the pain in the world for her, so she never had to feel bad about anything. I'm gonna have to toughen up a bit I guess, coz I can't go round bursting into tears every time she does!

She's such a gorgeous little cup cake - when she's in her pyjamas she looks like the cartoon baby from the Fairy adverts, with her little tuft on her head. I'm dreading her going into her own room, I love having her next to me. It's so reassuring to hear her snuffling away, and singing in her sleep. Do all babies sing in their sleep, or is it just her?
Anyway, I'm feeling all sloppy today, seeing her sob has made me really emotional...

Danie, go to a site called photobucket, and join (it only takes a minute), then you can download photos from your pc onto the site. Once downloaded you can click and copy the URL attached to the photo, and go back to this site, click on the image tab under message options and paste the URL into the box that appears, and hey presto, it downloads and you can display your pic. On my pc, I get a banner up when I click on the Image tab, and I have to click on the banner to temporarily allow scripted windows, but that might be just my weird computer.

Diff you r so beautiful.....and rowanne, exquisite........you make a beautiful family............Oh you r so a mom already........no-one could ever explain the feelings to ya until you experience them. she sounds like such an excellent baby and you r truly blessed. amazing how we can feel their pain.makes you appreciate yor mom all the more huh? I remember the day i brought my son home, thinking back to all I put my mom through as a teen and feeling so bad. I hear being grandmom is just as exciting...........My daughter is due in abot two weeks and i am feeling a bit anxious, worrying about her, the baby.that everything will be ok...........as much as she can be a royal b****, it will kil me to see her in pain.........but i am hoping once she becomes an official mom she will appreciate me more :-)
I'm sure she will! I never realised how much my mum must have hurt when my eldest sister had to have lots of operations on her ankles when she was tiny - the first one at 4 days old! Her heart stopped under the anaesthetic, but she still had to have about 10 more ops during her childhood. I don't know if I could have coped. Makes you wonder about all those poor kiddies who get really sick, with cancer and stuff like that. I think it would kill me...

I remember how much it made my heart ache when my little ones got hurt. I still remember crying in the dentist's office the first time my son had to have a cavity drilled and filled. No matter how old they get, we don't want to see them hurt. Ms. Tres is so right when she says that no one can understand the love we feel for our children until we experience it for ourselves. It is the closest to God's.
