I think that all of you with fibro need to read Dr. John Starno's books on the subject and take a good doctors advise. There are no lab test to diagnose fibro but of course you know that. It is all based on what YOU tell the doctor! Try using herbal remedies, yoga, exercise, stretching, over the counter pain relief. As I said before I am looking to get off drugs and talk to people who are STRAIGHT and HELPFUL to me. I don't to talk to people who are here talking about getting other drugs to help them with one thing or another. Your not in recovery if your still using something!

You just got on this board, how do you know what the people here are like? Why do you come here judging people you don't know? If you have a problem with this board then leave.

I'm not trying to cause problems just trying to help those with fibro understand it a little more. why get so upset about someone trying to help, I thought that is what this site is all about.

Doo, part of addiction is relapse. Yes, there are people on this board who are tapering etc., and in the same boat as you. Rather than ordering who you would like to talk to and who you wont listen to why don't you tell us what you need?

I usually stay outta threads like this.But i just don't understand some of the things that you are saying.Do you not realize that there are illnesses that REQUIRE some
form of medication.What is the differance weather it's chemo for cancer or some pain meds for legit pain.As long as the meds are NOT being abused and you are honest about it w/ your Dr.It comes down to the quality of life.
At this point,i'm not sure what it is that you are looking for, but i sure hope you find it.Good luck to you.

are you afraid to read the book? afriad that you won't need the drugs? but you want them like i do. I am not afraid to admit that i do. And that I want to get off the stuff. with or with out all of you. I find that you have to be honest with yourself before you can be honest with anyone else. and like said before, flipper is the most honest person on here so far.
