Finding A Treatment Center For Long Term Care

I just moved down to tenessee 9 days ago. i came from michigan. i am an alcoholic and have been for 9 years. i had 21 days of treatment in michigan in september, but not long after my discharge, i started drinking again. i have stopped and started so many times i cannot count anymore. i was really hoping that when i got to tenessee i would find a place i could go for help. i left my husband in michigan to tend to financial problems. he is coming down to tenessee in may. i have to be sober and coherent by then because we are going to move here. we have to find a house and settle down. i do not handle the stress of what we are going thru well. i would love to drink right now. i am living with my elderly parents with my 2 daughters. can you just imagine. i have been married 25 years, have a 22 year old son and twin daughters that are 13. my parents are so set in their own ways it is awful being here. but i have handled it very well. just cravings, no drinking. i have been on the internet constantly since i got here trying to find help. all i do is run into blank walls. i have no insurance and no money to pay for help. my parents nag me every day to go to treatment but i can't find a place to go. i hope someone out there can offer me some advice and hope. the longest i have been sober is 2 weeks. please post your feeling or advice. by the way, i live in dandridge,tn. my email address is crbncpy1@aol.com. please respond. and by the way corberry, i have never been able to stay stopped on my own. i need the support from other aa's. good luck and god bless. p.s. i would like to go to aa meetings in jefferson city, but i don't have an aa schedule for that area. could anyone help that issue too?

On this web site ( see top tool bar under Treatment options ) you'ill see a way to find AA meetings .
Also you might look into topamax (see Addiction Medications ) to help reduce the craving for alcohol.
