..Yeh i remember, no probs just glad that i could offer you sum support just as many others have done for me on here.. i guess i cudda slipped back in active use back in my early days here if some peeps on here did'nt give me the encouragement/support not to pick up again..but thxs all the same for saying wot ya said ;)..so where you at now regarding recovery ?..have you got subs on the treatment market yet in canada ?..well wotever ya up to in life take care along the way..Robbie..
I am so happy to hear that you are remaining clean, and not surprised. You have a huge heart and you have worked hard that is a winning combination.
I don't believe suboxone is yet available in Canada, how ridiculous is that. I moved to the US 14 months ago and am now living on the Big Island of Hawaii.
It's fantastic and will always be near and dear to my heart. This is where I got clean! November 6, 2006 is my sobriety date. I am coming up on one year clean.
I had a five year run with every and any opiate I could get my hands on. I was one sick girl. With the help of my Doctor, suboxone...the program of AA/NA. I am feeling stronger than ever.
I did taper off sub a few months back but was not mentally ready.....so I am on a small dose of about 2mg if that every couple of days! Slow and slower is my plan!
Thanks for enquiring...I know that in order to keep the gift of sobriety I must give back. I work hard at that...doesn't work all the time but I am a better person now than I was one year ago!

.. Hawaii huh, cool ;)..ya doing real well on the subs and congrates on almost 1yr sobriety..yeh no need to rush getting off them if ya not ready..a lot of people do that and end up relapsing cos they ain't ready mentally ya know..its just stop n start all the time..makes no sense..tis best to be content where ya at rather than unsure of wot to do..it messes peoples heads up if they ain't got no focus on wot lies ahead of them regarding stopping subs or not ?..but ya seem to be ok where ya at in life and good luck to ya..well you take care over in sunny hawaii while i sit here typing and hearing the rain pound me windows :)..cheers kee kee..Robbie..
