Havnt been around for a while as kids have been keeping me busy. My little man is sleep through the night now (he's 10weeks) so feel better for that.
My meth is now at 10mls and although I am coming down really slow...2 mls a fortnight..I can still feel it, obviously not loads.. am cold all the time, but have been getting hot sweats. And just feeling generally peaky
Am seeing my drugs worker next wednesday and she has me down for an 8ml a day script but I'm gonna ask her if I can do a tablet detox with DF118s or something similar, as this can take as little as a week if I stick with it, which I will. If anyone has done this..please let me know how it went
Haven't touched H for a long time now and havn't felt I have wanted to either, my kids and my fiance mean to much to me and I know I will lose them if I f*** up, I have too much to lose.
Also starting counselling soon, see how that goes

wow--good for you ive heard the last 20 ml is the hardest--i am currently on 145 and wish i wasnt I am so fearfull of coming off of it ive been putting it off forever--io really dont want to take methadone anymore i think id feel alot more and probably feel more like amity i almost feel like my soul or personality is hindered by it--i need to just do it--slowly--whats the highest mg you were on??

the detox sucks fully. I just quit getting my dose at 30mg. I had got up to 130 then went down once i got to 30 I could not pay for my dose. I had been homeless then i got a apartment i could not pay my rent and get my m-done. I was acually sick almost 2 months. I got 15-20mg here and there from my brother to get me thru the 1st week after that i just stoped getting it. The worst part was the depression. You should be having very little withdraw going down 2 at a time. You are detoxing the way it's recomended i think it'll work out just fine for you. I had a friend in a clinic who at 10mg quit going he felt a little ran down for a few weeks.
Kymbo, on you go! you're doing great! When i got remanded twice last year in prison you get a 12 day detox, i wasn't on the meth though.. (first 3 days df118 valium 20mg in morning and night, next 3 days df 90mg and 15mg valium day and night, next 3 days 60mg df, 10mg v, then the last 3 days df60 and 5mg valium. My habit wasn't as big as most people i know so the detox did help me a wee bit. Don't know if this is any help, Peace, Kev

Amity, I have been on 35mls, thats my highest, although this time i started at only 15mls.
Withdrawls are very small i know but when you have 3 kids to look after it can take its toll.
Kev, how was the w/d on that detox you did?

Alrite....Kymbo firstly well done on yer detox...you seem to be doin it the right way ..with methd....i.e very slowly...coz as ya prob.know coming off it quickly can bring a whole host of mental and physical problems....im not really speaking from experiance...im on 70ml. and have been on this dose for over 7yrs.now and to be honest i have no thoughts of coming off...i have a f/t job and bring up my 8yr.old daughter on my own ..so i know how busy the nippers can be.So good luck to ya and keep us posted on how you are feeling coz if i ever feel like i want to come off i can get some pointers from yer posts.
