Good Evening All!!
How was everyones day? Good I hope, you know I must share with you something that really bugs me about my Job...In my facility are people who are mandated to attend the facility, meaning they have no choice of to come, they have to or else they will have to go to Jail, and trust me "they do not want to be there" they could care less about what we preach, or bettering themselves, and that really burns me up! because at the same time, we have people on a waiting list who need our help, who will do anything to get into our place to seek the help they REALLY need, and those are the people I feel for. because those are the ones who want to change, who are ready to change and make a better life for themselves, they just need the tools to guide them....Well that's that, and tthats how I feel about that! ha ha, so moving on, to day was a good day, I was clean and sober, so there's no beating that! ever since I became clean 2 years ago, I took on everyday as a challenge making every second count, not just sitting back watching the clock, waiting to go to sleep. what kind of life is that? every day is an adventure, another 24 hours to make a difference, to help someone, to stay clean, to love my family, to not take the small things for granted, to appreciate everyone for who they are not what they do or did. so as I said before, seize the day people! No one is promised tomorrow!~ God Bless you all..... You all are so great and welcoming, I know I must say that a awful lot but Its true!
whatever our problems, when we dwell on the problem, the problem gets bigger. when we dwell on the solution , the solution gets bigger!
I don't tell me higher power how big my problem is, I tell my problem how big my higher power is! ;-))
Here's a thought, Almost2 years, (you really need to give us a name...it's hard imagining a person called almost two years, lol)
perhaps even though those people aren't there by choice, something is sinking in. Some seeds are being planted. It's a hopeful thought, anyway.
My day has been a pretty good one. Now it's time to go cook dinner and do the oh so dreaded homework.
