Here is the chance for all of us to start again and I, for one have got major hanges coming this year.Somehow my inner conscience and Higher Power have conspired to start me off with 1/2 the amount of my meds. This happened quite by accident(as the pharmacy is closed) or did it? Either way this wil be a test for me and I have no choice other than to pass it. It should start my year off right . My goal is to be as healthy as possible and to simplify my life. claen out all the bs and complications...all the negative people, and any unhealthy habits. let me tell ya all about my night..........
well..........we got ready, went to dinner at a steak house, hubby and i had a nice steak dinner, and i had a pinacolda..
then we went over my bf house and visited with them and they had some other friends over and all kinds of dogs........it was fun.
then.......we went to the movies at 10:35 and saw..........
THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS..........
wooooooo weeeeeeeeee.................make sure you see that movie....

My resolution is to exercise 6 days a week and eat more healthy.Those are two very major steps i need to take to be fully happy with myself.
My family and i are on our way out for a big lunch together(im going to try and fill up on salad,lol) we're bringing our new grandson with us,its going to be a nice beginning to a very promising New Year for me.

I went for an early morning walk and lifted some weights. I slacked off at the gym real bad last year, so this year I want to make up for it... and then some!

I'm off the flavored coffee kick for a while, my hubby hates it. So some good old Folgers Columbian for now.
I've been taking the Zicam and I took a Zyrtec the night before last but woke up really spaced out, so I'm not doing that any more. Today it was headache and sore throat, I took some Ibuprofen this morning. I sure hope this cold is gone within the next few days.
We had so much fun last night...it was in the low 40's and very windy, but we had a 6 ft high bonfire going. The fireworks were so pretty, and there were alot of them. The kids stayed occupied with bottle rockets and firecrackers...Jana had asked me to babysit Kenny, but I said no, because of my cold. She sounded terrible, had a yucky cold too. They only stayed for a few hours...Kenny was so cute running around in his little rubber boots!! I pigged out on Shrimp and Crawfish and made my blooming onion, the first one came out good despite the fact that half of it fell off...so I made petals out of the rest of it.
I've heard that movie has gotten excellent reviews.

Kim I'm going for 3 days of walking to start. Today it's Ham, Hoppin John (rice and black eyed peas) and Cabbage. Black eyed peas mean Luck and Cabbage money down here.

Happy New Year everyone, I had a quiet night last night at home with just the kids and the grandbabies. Getting ready to make a ham, collard greens, potatoes, and corn bread then it's back to work tommorrow. Ugh. Have a great day everyone. Shantel
