Goos Morning Everyone. It is a cold morning here. I'm drinking my first cup of coffee trying to wake up.
Well today I get to go to my counselor. I am excited because I have been in a funk lately and I think that is why. I haven't been to my counselors in 2 weeks, so I have a lot to tell her.

GOOS ALL...Wow this weather is so COLD!!!!Im thinking of dragging out my Christmas stuff today.I think Im getting my tree this weekend...Of course ioll be cleaning up pine needles until spring but to me a real tree makes the whole place just FEEL more like Christmas!!!!

MJ, I want a real tree too, but will probably end up putting up the artificial...trees are sooo expensive. I have a really nice looking tree, it takes a bit to get the branches bent the way I want them, but it does look pretty when I do. I would love to get a blue spruce, I love the way they smell.
I have so many ornaments too, it's such a chore to get them all on!

My son has his Christmas concert recital this morning at the high school and I'm one of the volunteer moms to taxi them back to the grade school. Now I'm wishing I had not stepped up, Ava has the sniffles and is a little cranky...a first for her. It breaks my heart to see her uncomfortable...I just want to stay home with her and both uf us stay in our pajamas all day.

Janet, Good luck Christmas shopping. I still have to do some shopping. Christmas is so stressful and I have been acting not like myself. I have been short tempered and it is not good.
Mj, I am getting my tree this weekend also. My dad is going to buy it for me like he does every year. I think I am going to have a decorating party this weekend. I have to babysit my cousins 4 kids on Saturday and I might just have them decorate the tree.
But I am with you on real trees. It just makes christmas better. However, The good thing about fake trees is you don't have to clean up pine needles. I have never had a fake tree, but I know people who do.

Redd, concert sounds like fun...I used to love them so much when they were smaller. Dylan has his band concert tomorrow night. I have to find him a dress shirt.
MJ...maybe it's bc I live down south? The price of the tree I mean? I live near a christmas tree farm and they run about $50...I might poke through the ones at Walmart though...but first I need to make sure I still have a stand. I would really love to buy one and plant it out in the yard after..but I know that's mega bucks. Maybe I would have a bit more xmas spirit if I was smelling that pine...

Goos Amy, I hope you have a good time at your sons recital. My son has a play on Friday, he is so excited, he is gonna be Rudolph. I like going to kids plays, it is so fun.

The only pine that grows naturally around here is the kind that they chop and make paper out of...they are really tall and don't grow limbs at the lower part of the tree...say on a 50 ft tree the top 20 is branches...not very pretty...even when they are young they aren't worth cutting and using bc they dry out almost overnight..believe me, I've tried....

No MJ...the main concentration of cajun's is in the southern part of the state...we just have a regular old christmas...no gators hanging off the tree...oh and incidently...no, we don't have alligators that come up in the yard and eat our pets...lol...

we got accepted for the apartment!!! i'm so relieved. we're starting to move in now. i'm at work though, hubby's off the next two days. i'm so ready to move in. it's only the second time i've ever moved!!!
