Well folks I need to sign off for a bit...Got the mom thing to do & GULP....shopping though I think Mikey & me are waiting till later tonight to do the bulk of it tonight as Anne is sleeping at a friends.

Doug! Hey - good to "see" you - been a little COLD here lately, huh? Today is supposed to be a little better....
I'm trying to get in the mood for Christmas, my daughter is halfway around the world in Thailand, my son is likely spending the holidays with his girlfriend's family (but we love her, and are happy for him) and I usually have the tree up and 150 Christmas cards out by now.... will TRY to get the holiday spirit going this weekend.
Anyway- good to see you posting.

Christmas shopping done..
Everyone here in my neighborhood sure has the Christmas spirit though..
There are so many lights and displays on all the houses that its starting

Funny you should mention Olin Park - - We just went tonight and drove through a few neighborhoods; I haven't really been in the Christmas spirit the way I usually am, so was trying to get into it today. Limited success......
Olin was PACKED with cars - well, we probably shouldn't have gone on a Saturday night. Some of the displays were pretty cool, though.
Wish we still had little ones at home; they would really get a kick out of all the lights.
