How are you all today?
We're supposed to get some freezing rain today,but then they said we're in for some nice warm weather.I just cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! Im so looking forward to getting all my deck furniture out,being able to sit out there in the eveenings,cook on the grill,read the paper,just emjoy the outdoors.Can you tell im counting the days?!?!?!?!
Im still doing 2 mg of the sub,1 in the morning and 1 early afternoon,and its working fine.I think i'll stay on this til i see the dr in 3 weeks,then maybe go lower.See what he says.But its really going well.I hope so for the rest of you trying to wean off the sub.
Ive been busy getting ready for my grandduaghters 6th b'day party.Going to be a sleep over,i bought DVD bingo,DVD high school musical game,and several others to keep them busy.I am having a gymnastics theme,which she will love! Besides the pizza and soda,and of course the B'day cake(gymanstics...girl on a balance beam with her legs up...itrs really cute)im going to have a table set up for make your own sundaes.The girls will love that.Im really looking forward to it.Just hope they all spend the night,none wake up crying to go home,lol,then it'll be a long night!Oh,,,we're also going to play pin the tail on the unicorn and ive got a bag full of prizes,cheap little things,but stuff they'll like,makeup,lipgloss,hair ties,journals,etc....
So my weekend is totally booked,obviously.I hope its warm enough so they can go out and play a little.
Anybody got any real fun plans this weekend? I just told my husband,we need to get away for a four day weekend,i dont care where,it doesnt have to be far,but just AWAY!

Dr put me on prednisone, Allegra and Flonase, says that this is most probably allergies...I hope this does the trick.
Where are the rest of the beaners? I have a potta coffee going on and it's hot,hot hot....y'all are on your own for donuts.

Janet,i sure hope it does the trick too.You have had so many ailments lately,i hope things get better for you soon.I get a cold and im like a big baby,i should be thankful,im pretty healthy and i dont have to take any medications daily.Im not bragging*knock on wood* im just very very thankful.And i pray it continues.

How are you lovely ladies? Janet, I was RXed a Medrol pk. yesterday, too. Guess it is pregnisone (sp). Also on Alevox (a new antibiotic), and Allegra. Been on meds now for 10 days for strep and bronchitis. My next RX is going to be Chantix, I swear. Feeling this bad for so long has really made me think about smoking, and the harm it is doing, so I am going to give it a try.

That's tough, I have a brother with similar problems, and he used to keep us all on edge. He still does the rest of the family, I hear, but I removed myself from the madness and don't keep up with all of them anymore. It sure helped me, and although I miss them, life is much better when you are not constantly being brought down.

Kim we have a crawfish boil planned tomorrow night. First of the season. It's so much fun to have a mound of food piled up ontop of the table. just grab and eat...I will try to remember to take a pic of the steaming mudbugs. Kenny and Jana will be here also...still adjusting to having a 2 year old around 24/7...and he's had the sniffles since he came home Sunday night...yesterday was pretty miserable for him....he IS the terrible two's!! LOL
Dylan is home, he was throwing up and pooping so Dad let him stay. Only problem is that he is taking ILEAP tests this week and will miss one today...I have to call the school in a while and see if something can be arranged for him to take it.
It's nice having Jana here, the housework is getting done thanks to her help...we are even taking on Spring projects like cleaning windows.

I have got to share this.....just looked out the window, and there is a fat little pig running around my yard. I am cracking up! No one around here has pigs, that I know of, so I can not imagine where it came from, but it is just hauling a** all over our field. It's hilarious! Guess I need to call animal control, but I doubt they could catch it. LMAO!

the hospital has called wanting me to come in early..........
and i hate that.........cause she always wakes me up early and i get home so late......
well , i have to go in early today any ways.............
which means i best be gettin my booty up and get in the shower......
and iron my uniform.......
i thinking ARBYS, i am getting addicted to ARBYS now,..
i never had arbys until 2007 and i get the chicken salad sandwhich with curly fries, and a pepsi !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like to get this combo for lunch when i go to work.......

oh and the HORSEY sauce, i like that sauce.........ALOT !!!

Moll,no,im not having an problems with the sub drop.But remember,ive onl been taking 3 mgs all along,so dropping to two isnt so bad.Next month i will drop to one and see how that oges,thats when it'll get trick im afraid.We'll see.
He 8 mg is awesome compared to what ou were taking!!! ou were tsking 32 mg if i remember right? That is a tremendouse difference.How are ou feeling at 8?Do ou take it all at once,or break it down?

I was at 24mg for geez I think close to 2 years,when I started to decrease I did 2-4mg less at a time.
Im holding pretty good at 8.Ill admit sometimes the chrons hurts more or I feel it more but I can handle it.
As for how I do it I get the 8mg tabs so I split it in half.4mg in the morning than the other 4 around 7 at night.I tried to take it earlier but Id end up with cramped up legs.
I think once I get settle in the job & stuff Ill try to go 2mg lower & see what happens.
Thankfully my Dr came through for me.See Medicaid has a new thing where they will only pay for 6mths of Sub,so my Dr went to bat for me & Im approved for 7 more mths.I think he plans on just keep doing that.He is really impressed with how far Ive come also.Hes been my Dr for 20 years & knows all Ive been through.
Yes with your dose I think it maynot be that bad.Even with your next drop it may not be as bad as you think...

ooooh! arby's sounds good, i usually get a junior roast beef with lettuce, horsey sauce and arbys sauce and a curly fry and pepsi, they are a little pricey compared to my favorite wendy's! i get their dollar menu stuff chili, baked potato with butter and sour cream and small coke comes to $3.69. sometimes i'll get a choco frosty!

i want to come to your birthday party too kimber, those girls are gonna have a blast! one time my neighbor had a beauty parlor party for her daughter. she booked appts with me for all the little girls, we did updo's with flowers in their hair, makeup and polished their nails! they had a blast!
well i'd better get busy here as my first customer comes in about 45 min. i already did the shower the dishes swept the floors, watered the plants, cleaned bunnies cage and fed her, fed all the animals, then i go to the endocrinologist for diabetes check up and blood work, ive lost 60 pounds!!!!! woo hoo! feels fantastic, i didnt even go on a diet! my dr put me on a new medication for diabetics called byetta, google it as they are thinking of putting people on it who want to lose weight and do not have diabetes, it is an injection 2x a day which makes my stomach empty slower so there fore i dont feel hungry, plus since starting sub i have no appetite either.
