In spite of all thats transpired the last two days,i personally still love this board and the people here.I still believe in the good of people,call me naive.

Im sorry people have been hurt and peole have left.We all really do need each other.Each one of us have something to offer.

I want to offer my friendship and support to you all,regardless who you are,who your friends are,etc....(we are just people,people seeking support and acceptance with others like ourselves)

Im here to help and get help in this ongoing process of dealing with addiction and life in general,and i need to share all that with you,the ones who have walked in my shoes!

I want to keep the goos going along with the "cafe" i hope theres room for both.It does make it feel a little divided,but hey,to each his own,right?The goos has been a ritual that i would love to continue.I miss alot of you who used to post here in the mornings.

So,im extending my olive branch to each and everyone of you this morning,i got into it a little last night,nothing heavy duty,but its the first time i have "let" myself get involved. I still feel the way i do,but i realise everyones different,there are different sides to every story,but that need not come between us.Love~KIM

I agree, I miss the goos also.

It's a shame that this fighting has to get so ugly, but I know about people's hurt feelings and on the side that I know, they are justified. I'll leave it at that.

Morning Janet,yes,im going to get the two oldest at 11,not sure what we will do today.Movies,rollerskating,bowling,....something.They can choose,only problem is,they usually both pick something dofferent,no matter what the choices are,then we have a battle.

Yep,we had the storm last week,now weve got more coming Sun-Wed. Its so depressing!! I keep saying,this is got to be the last of it,then another one hits us!

Whats your plans for the weekend,anything good?~KIM

(I really need a hair cut and color,but i tell you,i never ever have time for me lately,maybe sometime tomorrow afternoon,im hoping)

Goos Morning Kim,

I sit here knowing I have a bunch of stuff I need to get done! Before I get started I wanted to check in and say Hello to you all. It's quiet at home now but probably won't be for long lol...Still waiting for Spring to arrive. Big rain storms and flooding heading this way...ugh...the next 5dys all call for rain and high temps of only 50...It doesn't do anything good for my frame of mind I tell ya.

Kim, today is a new day, that's all we have. Make it a good one!

Goos morning Jan.

I'm reblonding my hair today, I'm sure I will have alot of red highlights. I still have some blonde left from my last highlight, I tried to go a little darker last time. I need to get a professional cut, my hair is so thick and I don't have those thinning shears. I will have to see when hubby will let me spend the money to do it. I guess I'm letting it grow back out, but when it's longer I wear it in a pony tail most of the time. I just have this thing about hair hanging down my neck and in my face.

Kenny is doing fine. Jana wanted me to watch him last night, but I had to say no. I have been in a terrible fibro flare for the past week and a half. I've been using 3 lidocaine patches a day on my lower back.

Jana is staying at her mom's trailer, her mom is in the psych ward because she was suicidal. She is taking care of her mom's dogs. (Jana is my step, so you aren't confused)

Good Morning! I don't know much about what's been going on here but I want to say it's nice to be able to come here in the morning before I start my day. I am 2 weeks clean and this board has been very helpful to me. So, if anyone thinks this board is not helping anyone they are wrong!

Janet,im the same way,i cant stand my hair on my neck,it drives me nuts,or in my face.So when it gets this in between long,its up in a ponytail 99% of the time.Tom hates it like that,he wants me to keep it ddown always,but i just cant stand it!

Good mroning Shelly.CONGRATULATIONS on your 2 weeks.How are you feeling? Youve made it through the worst of the physical. Thats a blessing! Hopefully youre starting to feel better and getting some energy back.It does get easier from here,but i hope youve found some outside help.Having someone to talk to f2f helps sooooo much,i cant express how much it helps.

I love the baby in your sig...so does my granddaughter lol Sitting here surrounded by paperwork. Some are bills some need to be filed....arrrrgggggghhh I hate it that I procrastinate and then what a huge mess to straighten out! Anyone got a match?

Growing my hair out a little too and yep it's up in a ponytail right now. If my hair wasn't colored I would do a soft perm to it and just leave it down. Hmmmmm maybe I could still do that.

Well, my poor husband fled to go fishing once I pulled out the bills haha...I know I will feel better once it's done but, but, I don't wanna :(

Shelly, congrats on 8dys! You should be proud of yourself. It gets better and better...Life is never gonna be a bowl of cheeries but it still beats being an addict.

Well Im happy to say I have no idea what occurred other than to assume it was the usual power plays here. The mods seem to jump in and remove posts for no reason but when there is a problem and the not knowing leads to all kids of speculations, one would think THAT is when the mods should step in. Well, Kim, you as usual seem to prevail with a clear head. Thank you. Its good to know there are some people here with no agenda but to get clean and help others and perhaps make a friend or two along the way. This is a perfect situation where one like myself who reads now and again cant have any trust in most here. I think the mods can go a long way in trying harder to keep people informed of troublemakers. And we can all remember that any new name that pops up with nothing but slander needs to totally be ignored and considered nothing but a loser starting trouble. Hope the new people can get more out of this sight than wondering who is honest and who is full of it and here to make trouble.

Im editing this to add that I dont mean to have this thing drag on - just after reading a bit felt compelled to add my 2 cents. I hope everyone has a great day and those on the east coast are prepared for the weather they are predicting. Hopefully it wont be anything more than a little rain.
