I get to do my first kitty transport later today.One of our kittys(Pet Smart)needs to go to the vet & I said Id transport back
Oh goodness now this may not sound like much but for me its such a big step....Next Monday is Pet Smarts volenteer dinner & I AM GOING!!! Im no longer scared to live.Im so proud of myself!!!!

Steph I never thought helping kittys could help me the way it does.Years ago when I was an EMT it use to make me feel so good just to be able to comfort a patient(its wasnt all blood & guts)Taking care of these kittys fills something in me that....I needed filled.
I want to try & get at least one of my daughters to do some volenteering.It may help them more than they know....Steph???Thank you for your support the other night.Im very private & the pain I was in was so close to my heart.Your words & knowing you wanted to help....made a difference!!!

Yeah, I know that an EMT's job is not all blood and guts. I have heard some funny stories about people who call the ambulence for crazy reasons.
I used to have to call the ambulence for my grandma so they could help her in and out of her house. It was quite embarassing.

As if the first batch weren't enough? lol Happy to say I just about have my Christmas shopping done as of lastnight..........Have a few more things to get but feels better to be a little closer.
Been up for two hours but still not awake................:( Working on it.

Java- I did the same thing once with 3 cats and it was during a snowstorm..
I know it sounds like a "I walked 10 miles to school when I was a kid" thing but it did happen. I had a 1000 scratches on my arms and hands..they were not happy. I was an idiot, obvioudly.

Oh VEY do I remember trying that!!! NOT GOOD.No Big Snooky will be in a carrier...Hes so sweet,but he cant be adopted.He has a heart murmur(we never knew until last week)Hes 5 years old & the lady that was fostering him passed away.So now we are finding him a perminate foster home.I wish I could take him but 3 female kittys against 1 male kitty with a heart problem.....NOT GOOD!!!
