it was like bright firey sun ball going up ..........
i never seen anything like that in my life !
and the sounds....wow........boom...boomm.......
they said on the news that the launch was nearly flawless....
well.......i already took a shower..
so i better blow dry my hair and put y make-up on.........

Hey Thumper!!! Good for you! I have been there when they do a launch, and isn't it fun?? It is a rare bonding experience , huh?
I have some friends who were there watching when the Shuttle blew up. Can you imagine?
On a lighter note,,,,,,,,,I read what you wrote about the crowded beaches. OMG! I hate sitting 12 inches from a stranger in a pool chair at the pool. Smelling their sweat. LOL I would also much rather be up or down the beach somewhere less crowded. I see you have driven down to Ponce. It is the same if you go norht, past Ormond Beach. Or New Smyrna Beach, but you have to go inland and down to get there, due to the river, but I can assure you, it is well worth the drive.
The lighthouse at Ponce is beautiful, and it's much more peaceful in that area.
We have Publix here, isn't it the nicest store?
Did you fly down? God, I hope so, what a long drive that would be.
Enjoy the last couple of days you have there. I hope your vacation has been all you wanted it to be, I think it has. :-)

goodness its seems like YEARS since I posted to the "Goos" My Dear ones will never know how much Ive missed you all.how much I miss waking up to our "morning coffee talks"
Thankfully though I may not post here much we do all still keep in touch.
Right now Im just trying to EXHALE from a very long workweek for me.Tomarrow is my first day off in so long.I LOOK forward to getting up at 5:30,going to my beloved river & than meeting up online with some dear friends who have been so worried about me.
Granted work is taking alot of my time,but you guys also know "the other"things happening.
It will be nice to have your shoulders to lean on & hopefully pull my head out my BUM!!! LOL
Im so so hungry yet not sure what I want,.Stoffers has this "Flatbread"with spinach,cheese & chicken that I LOVE so much...actually anything with spinach I LOVE!!!
Anyways friends I hope your enjoying your weekend & I look forwards to reconnecting tomarrow
