Well Goos all usually today is kitty day for me,but my eye is swollen shut!!.See I started to get a (sp)Sty)in my eye...(LOL that sounds funny)so Ive been keeping warm teabags on it to make it come out & PUFFY EYED molly took today off.
Boy I sort of feel guilty as its the first time Ive NOT gone to my kittys but I know the manager is there so they wont be alone,
Im still waiting to hear back from the job.I took my drug test Friday & I dont see any problems,so hopefully Ill know by later today!!!

As for snow PLEASE!!!!! They are cutting our mid winter break because of all the snow days we had to take already. That stinks I love when my 8 year old is home he makes my life so much easier with the 3 year old. All his friends love playing with the baby and he loves playing with them he is a bigtime rough houser. Oh getting back to snow yesterday I took my husbands car to the grocery store because the truck is a pain it is so high and the bags always fall all over the back seat. His little sports car is great but not so great in the snow so everything was fine until I pulled in the driveway and got stuck in a snow bank I couldn't get out of my car door so I had to climb thru the other side and carry all the groceries in from the driveway and let me tell you cold is not the word here!!!! The lake has finally froze and that is good but yesterday we hear we are going to get the largest amount of snow yet I am like WHAT!!!! We already got hit with 2 feet how much more can we get. It is supposed to start in a few hours so we will see. The stores were packed yesterday which is weird because people in Buffalo usually don't take those warnings to heart we are so used to snow. The one thing I do hate is people always drive when you are not supposed to. We got hit on Superbowl Sunday and people were out all over the place and their was a no unnecessary driving ban. Go figure. Are you expected to get a lot of snow.
I love the idea of your job with the pets that must be such fun. Did you get to check out the rollaway kitty litter box yet??

I got a call at 6 this morning asking if we had been hit by the tornado...I wish my sisters would look at a map and see that I am over 250 miles away from New Orleans...lol....and then I finally went back to sleep and hubby woke me up again.....grrr...I think I will be in a grumpy mood...
Dylan went to the dr, he is home till Thursday with bacterial bronchitis...got a shot in the butt and he seems to be doing better. Now he is driving me nuts!

Hey Roxy no the last time I was there was Sunday & I was going nonstop with the kittys.Some of them can be a challenge.They come in & dont understand why they are there & some are real scared so it takes alot of my time(which I dont mind)gaining thier trust & getting them to feel safe & cared for.But with me having 3 cats here at home I should look into it.I still wanted to see the training thingy where the cats will actually use the toliet,Sounds like a scam but I just want to see it ya know?

SNOW!!!!! boy do we have it! i am in illinois we have a least 4 inches already! so pretty... my boys stayed home from college as the schools are closing and i stayed home today too cuz it supposed to get bad.
my doggies were like whats this? it is almost up to their elbows when they go do their business.
oh the weather outside is frightful and the fire is so delightful.. oh, i know should be singing that in dec but that song is stuck in my head! i love days like this where i can be in my nightgown the whole day and be cozy inside. no appts, nothing on the calendar yeah!!! gonna take a nap too with my doggies and kitty,
speaking of kitty molly or anyone else educated about cats help me determine what is going on with my baby.
he started sneezing quite often during the day and has a weepy eye. i looked online and they didnt seem to think it was anything to worry about except if the cat was elderly or a kitten.
he does have an appetite and is playful.
i just wiped his eye with a kleenex and its got pus in it, is there an otc remedy for eye infection?

Jewels though Im not anytype of vet it may be an upper repsitory infection or a cold comming on,Id say that as long as hes eating & playing good that its probaly not an infection.I do know that there are OTC eye wipes & cleaners for kittys in PetSmart.It would be good to go look at them.

OH Molly I have missed you, too. I am afraid I have been a bad friend, out of touch. It's been crazy here. I have some sad news. We have lost our dog, our sweet, precious little dog, Georgia. She just disappeared Saturday night. We have searched and searched our land, the neighboring land, the road, the ditches, the pounds, every where. We are all so sad. I just hope she is somewhere safe and being fed and isn't too scared.

I am praying that someone has her, but she has a tag with my phone number on it, so I would think they would call me if they had her. We've been told there's been a rash of dogs stolen in our area recently. Also coyote attacks, so it's not good. I've got my whole community on the lookout for her, so maybe she'll turn up. I sure hope so.
She has never wandered off for more than an hour or so. This is very out of character for her. To not come in to sleep in her bed at night is unheard of.

If anyone is seriously interested in the cannoli cupcake recipee Here it is
1-1/4 cup chopped pistachios
1 pk (18.25oz) yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 cont. (8oz) marscarpone cheese
1 pk (8oz) cream cheese
1-1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1-1/2 tsp. grated orange zest
3 tbs milk optioonal
1/2 cup chocolate chips mini
3 cans (16oz)each vanilla frosting
Preheat oven to 350degrees Spread nuts on jellyroll pan. Bake 8-10 minutes cool.
Line 18 muffin pans with cupcake liners
At medium speed beat cake mix 1-1/3 cups water eggs,oil and 1/4 tsp extract until combined beat 1-1/2 minutes divide evenly among liners
Bake 18 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean cool on rack 30 minutes
Meanwhile at medium speed beat marscarpone, cream cheese, sugar,zest, and remeining extract until combined. One minute. If mixture is too thick to pipe beat in up to 3 tbs. milk to thin. Stir in 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Pipe filling into cupcakes
Piping
Fill large plastic storage bag with filling. Snip 1/2 inch wide hole from one corner insert 3/4" into top of each cupcake. Squeeze to fill. Chill cupcakes 15 minutes Spread with frosting sprikle with nuts and remaining chips.
I have not tried this yet but I hope it works.
