Thumper,how can you hack that green tea,i used to drink it all the time,i tried the madarin orange,etc,....every single kind to try and mask the taste,still tasted like crap,but it does give you energy and helps you to lose weight,i know that first hand.But...i have to literally plug my nose when i swallow it,lol~KIM

Im at work,waiting for the furnace guy to come and look at my ladys furnace,shes 90 and her furnace is acting up.I cant leave her for the weekend and let her freeze ,so...im playing the waiting game.They never give you a time that they will come,they just say"sometime this morning".....

Hi all looks like a Goos & gone for me.Goodness my world has been busy!!!
My interview yesterday I felt went pretty good.It made it easy that I already know the people there & have no issues with anyone.Yesterday was my first interview,than the 3 managers talk over applications & do 2 ^& 3rd interviews.I made it clear that even if I dont get hired I still would like to volenteer.
I also told the manager I am willing to work all weekend long as long as during the week Im here with Anne.
I know I know at 14 & her being as rsponasble as she is I can ALMOST 110% trust her but at her age even if she isnt comming right home Iike her to know Im here & stuff ...crazy huh?

Goos everyone. I finally got a day off from work and not getting much done. I am still in my P.J's drinking tomato soup. I finally broke down and let my 15 year old daughter get her working papers and she started her new job yesterday. It is 3 hours a day. My husband is not to happy about it. He thinks she needs to keep all of her focus on school. Grade wise she is one of the top in her class. I guess he just wants to keep it that way. He thinks between school work and cheerleading it will be to much on her. I think it is good for her until she choses to utilize her time the wrong way. Maybe I made the wrong decision but time will tell. Whats everyone got planned for today? I really need to get this house cleaned. I have a gift certificate from Christmas to get my hair and feet done maybe I'll skip the housework and go use those. Shantel

I have a sinus infection and a cold. I hate being sick. I keep getting up at night every couple of hours. I also have been staying up late, trying to get some time to myself. Then when it is time to get up I am too tired. I think I just need to start going to bed earlier.
Edit: goos Shantell, I have a lot of housework too, it just seems so boring that I don't do it. I think if I had a gift certificate to get your hair and feet done then I would do that on my day off. You need to relax on your day off. That is what they are for right? Lol, I hope you enjoy your day.

Thanks Steph, I want to go use them but first I gotta get my lazy butt out of this chair. I am just drained this morning. Sorry you are not feeling well. Could have alot to do with the weather. Here in Ct. it is 7 degress one day and 40 the next. Everyone has been sick. Hope you feel better.

Steph Ive seen the ads on TV for those tablets you put ino your shower & the steam helps the vabors fill the air in the shower.Maybe that would help even alittle.I hate that sick feeling where you feel as if your head is size 22!!!!

Sabrina, Thank goodness I don't have to worry about the boyfriend thing yet with Paige. My husband and I do not agree with dating at the age of 15. We try to explain to her she has years ahead of her to date. I think dating at such a young age just complicates things for a young girl. JMO

Ok I tend to agree & with Anne boys have been asking her out nonstop for 2 years so this is her first REAL bf.But I keep a close eye on what shes doing too.Im glad to say she makes sure she still has her"girl days"& her bf comes here(tonite)for dinner once a week.Im lucky with her in reguards that we are very close & she not afraid to talk to me about stuff.Sure some of the stuff is hard to hear...I mean thats my baby.But I NEVER EVER wanted her to feel like I did & be too scared to tell mom anything.
Its hard letting her go but as I said Im keeping a close eye on her.....

bye molly, sorry i didnt catch up with the goos sooner to say hi! when do you find out if you get the job?
i start a new job on mon, another nursing home to style hair for the elderly, last nursing home i worked at didnt work out as i could never get paid! that place is getting audited, rumor has it the residents funds are not there???!!!!!??? they owed me $328.00, after begging for one month for my money, i said screw it! they said they could only pay me half!!!!! i said no way pay me now or i walk, she ended up writing me a check from the nursing homes account, handed me the check and said: here's your check and you can leave!!!!! mind you there has been NO ONE there since july to style or cut these poor peoples hair. i had them looking so good! the womens hair was down to their shoulders! oh well, their loss, i feel sorry for the residents who were so thrilled to have a hair stylist finally. i sure enjoyed meeting and working with them. but my new nursing home residents are looking forward to me coming on mon.
i had given felix his last haircut in life, read in the paper he had passed away.

my plans for the day are a roller set and cut today at my home salon at 11:30 then an appt with my counselor at 2:30 and then i have been invited to a "job reunion" dinner at 5:00. back in 1980 i worked as a waitress and the owner of that restaurant is retiring from the business and his daughter called all former employees to come have dinner at their restaurant to celebrate with them. hi thumper and stephy, hope i didnt forget anyone, those shower tabs molly talked about are kinda cool. i was so conjested when i used them last month when i had that cold/bronchitis that i couldn't even smell the vicks vapors from it.

Goos morning Doug and all you ladies. Steph, I swear I have a sinus infection, these morning headaches are a pain in the butt. I didn't wake up till 10 this morning. I don't have any congestion, just these morning headaches and sticky boogers in the morning. I need to get myself into the dr for an x-ray I guess. I sure hope you feel better soon.
Shantel, Tomato Soup is my favorite! New England Clam Chowder is second. Now I know that I will have Tomato soup for lunch.
