Gracie

If my math is right, don't you have 30 days? Way to go girl.
Hey Cowgirl!

Yeah, I do! I just keep trying to string them together! Thanks for noticing.

You know, I am learning a lot, not just about addiction, but about the spirit of people and the strength of people who are addicts and how you can allow an addiction to work for you, if you just switch gears. I not there yet, I have learned here that it is the journey anyway, not the destination ( that in itself is a novel idea for me ) .

Anyway, thanks again.

Gracie

You know I need to get an avatar. Josh can go from drfeelgood with his mental illness pic to sovereignprince with a bone eating dog, I should be able to come up with something.
You're a smart cookie....it is about the journey and you get out of it what you put into it. Your willingness is showing and it looks really good on you.
Gracie's got a month! Congratulations. I knew you could do it. You have always been eager to try the next right thing, and here you are, getting your life back.

This is for you. It's an Amazing Grace rose.

Gracie, how very important your story is. I am so proud of you.

I remember your when you first started posting. What a difference 30 days can make, huh?

You keep reaching out and keep your clear and concise attitude about what you want at the forefront of your journey.

Life is fantastic when you are dealing with it. Its so easy to put pills in our mouth and hide from the world...sooner or later we have to deal with the wreckage of our past. There is no way around it...we must go through it!

Congrats on your clean time girlfriend...I am so happy for you!
Gracie,

YIP EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 30 days!

I have no idea why 30 days is such a milestone but it is. Somehow 30 days ment to me that I had really done something big.

Your advice to other people that are struggeling is priceless. Always remember that you come first though. You are just a baby and need to heal yourself too.

Congratulations

Catherine
Gracie,

You and I are in this together. I am not there yet either, in fact I just posted about it before I read this post. I love what you said about it being a journey and how we can use our addictions as a strength. I've been thinking that myself. Like it can make us stronger if we choose to let it. And instead of seeing ourselves as "junkies" we can see ourselves as survivors. You are a survivor and I am proud of you!

Congratulations Gracie!!! You are an inspiration. Your willingness and kind spirit emanate from your posts. I am glad you are here.

Grace,

I love that name btw...Congratulations on your 30dys!!! Here's to the next 30!!! Keep it going, it's not easy and it sure as hell isn't always smooth, but it's a LOT better than the alternative. The flower Gina posted is a lot like your spirit...beautiful.

Congrats again,

Jan
Gosh! thanks you guys, your words are so encouraging, the rose is beautiful. I should get one for my garden.

I am not sure what would be going on with me right now if, when I had posted for the first time at about 4:00 in the morning , you guys had not been there. And you have been there ever since. Thanks Gracie
