I don't know about guinness being good for pregnant women, but my dad thinks I should drink gin, in the hope that it will persuade my little one to make her debut!

Happy Paddy's day to you all,
Was just thinking of you Diff, It won't be long now anyway.
She will be here soon. I know how you feel, I was two weeks overdue and it seemed like forever. Are they bringing you in on Monday anyway if nothing happens?

No..Tinman i wouldnt suscribe to any of the stereotypes..you have mentioned..im South London born,n,breed..so the day dont hold any magic for me...just a good day for my 7yr.old daughter..you got a boy so i presume ya know what i mean.I dont really booze anymore..but the Guinness is a lot better over here.
Top.o.the bottom to you also..........Davey
Davey, I never realised you were a Londoner. Like me! I was born in Greenwich. Life is strange. How the hell did I end up in darkest Wales for the past decade? It doesn't bother me where people come from, but sometimes I feel like a rootless plant. Sometimes I long for roots. I feel almost envious of the people round here, who may be unadventurous for the large part, but they have no doubt where home is. And me? I have no clue where I belong...

London rules this site I tell ya......just wait for Corrinne to jump in here.

Wales???? You live near Wales, Diff??? Wales looks awesome.

May I add that this is giving Tres such great pleasure because that crazy kid always thought she lived in London......we lived on a block in Philly! My block beat up her block.......but like Scarlett O'Hara I vow to get to London with that girl.......and listen to her say "FLAT" and "PROPER".

Stereotypes though like Tin and Davey say........true or not? If we weren't all different we'd be boring.

Americans are loud and borish! Stereotypical. Yeah, that's why Posh wants to live here. Haaaaaaaa. Forget her old man.
Yep Bryn, I live in Wales, and it's a funny old place. We do have some magnificent countryside, all mountains and lakes, and we have a lot of coastline. I live right by the sea - got a sea view and everything. And it's a laid back kinda place. People ain't too fussed on being high fliers. Most folks are just happy to pick up their incapacity benefit and go down the pub, putting 50p bets on the horses. I like the Welsh, I like the fact they ain't pretentious, and they're down to earth. When you go to the pub, you can't tell who's the rich and who's the poor, coz everybody gets treated the same. I've choked on my cornflakes more than once when I've found out that some guy who's always propping up the bar in one of the pubs, with his dog alseep under the stool owns some big multi-national corporation. It's a good way to be...

love ya
