How was everyone's new year? Mine was great, and sober. I just had to think of things to do that the objective wasnt drinking. So, we played games. It's a great way to not want to drink at a party...somthing to keep your mind occupied...and no one even noticed i wasnt drinking. I had a mixture of white grape juice, pink grapefruit juice, and club soada. It was great.
I noticed somthing since i quit drinking; no one gets hammered around me now. I guess before I was the life of the party, and everyone kinda followed my lead. I use to encourage people to drink more probly to make myself feel better about drinking excessivly. NOw that I am not drinking, i've been to several get togethers, where we normally get hammered, and NO ONE got hammered! Wierd, eh?

I'm glad your New Years was a sober one!!!!! That is awesome! Doesnt matter that noone notice that you werent drinking...you noticed ..and you didnt drink and that is sooo great!!! I spent my New Years with my husband and kids. We played air hockey..lol , the kids love it, and played other games...and it was so fun... When I first got clean and sober i didnt think you couldnt have fun with out drinking or drugging, especially holiday time. It's nice to wake up and remember what you did, and to know you didnt do something to harm yourself or another. I still do dumb things sober , but thats ok, Im not perfect .,...lolollolll...ok you take care
