I had our first fire in the pit in our backyard tonight. My youngest son and I enjoyed sitting around the campfire and sharing stories about the moon and the stars this evening. It is a beautiful, calm night. At the end I told him to create a desire in his mind, mentally write it on a piece of paper and put it into the fire to release it so this time next year he will have what he wished for.
Before our time together.... I went to a group meditation and it brought me such comfort to be with others I trust completely when I shared my meditation experiences.
I hope you can find a way to connect with nature on this longest day of the year....
Love and Light,
Diana
I think a walk on the beach is in order, though I did some time in the garden yesterday and last night just before dark. We love our fire pit, too, there's nothing like a fire on a nice night. It's beautiful in my part of the Northeast right now - sea breezes, 75 degrees, sunny, dry, and blue skies. It's good to be alive.

I'll second that, it was one bad winter!
Hi everyone..I live on the other side of the planet and we have just celebrated mid-winter! I've also just joined this forum after waking up yet again with a massive marijuana hang-over, and a huge sense of personal failure. WHY can't I jusy say no?
Anyway...maybe this is a step in the right direction...
