Good morning Marisa,
Sorry for the delay in not replying to your post. I used to come to this Board practically everyday, but not so much anymore. Ths being said, I want to congratulate you for taking the decision or for thinking of quitting marijuana. My first advice to you as an exsmoker of marijuana for more than 25 years is the following. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FOR YOURSELF FIRST AND FOREMOST! My second advice is you have to do this one day at a time.
I know how tempting it is to smoke first thing in the morning, how miserable we get when we don't have our joint, etc. etc. etc. but when we decide to change our habit and live life and appreciate it instead of spending our days and nights stoned on marijuana, life is alot better.
I haven't smoked marijuana for more than 3 years now. If you want to know a little bit more of my story, read the section on this Board called Recovery Diaries.
You can do this. Let me know how things are working out.
Have a beautiful day.
Fleur
