To Anyone needing a kind word and good advice
Sometimes a person just doesn't know what to do next. What I feel is most-est important to hear is "you must take care of yourself nowf". It sounds like you have done/tried everything you can possibly do for him and as sad as it seems now you may have to let your brother face it all now and go into detox and treatment or else getting help and being well is possibly out of reach.

Your brother has to get to a point where he himsel wants to get help. To a point that he sees as not having an allternative, but, getting help. There are no tricks that can convince your brother into treatment. Maybe you can look at it somewhat like this-If his brain disease (alcoholism & drug addiction) was a cancer and he was not going to chemo sessions that he should go to, he was not taking his medicines and you had tried convincing him to do so in everyway possible. You had drivin him to the chemo clinics but he wasn't willing to open the door and go in, You would feel terrible but inside you'd know you had done everything you could do and since he wasn't willing to try you could know your hands were tied and it now was out of your control. It was truly up to him.
I wrote this out so you might get the picture the way I see it and maybe you could find some peace, NO not for him, he remains sick and needs help, but
for yourself you may be able to see that you have done what you can possibly
try to do. Again there is no magic pikk that will just make him sudddenly want
to get better if for what ever reason he just doesn't want to. It is not in your control. Sorry for being so long here, hope you do find your way & peace.
Lastly may I just say keep your brother in your prayers and don't give up.

I am that sort of situation of trying to clean up my little sister 15 yrs. ago. We sent her to PA to stay with a sister of ours. 5 months gone came back with a new attitude. Was cleaning up real well, went to church again, no drugs, then when the whole family 6kids and mom and dad were so thrilled.
Then for no reason she was taken from me n an wreck where she hit a tree. Maybe I should have done more. If I had she may be here to spoil my kids and again be my best friend.
Not over it yet.
Just sounding off hope others have better luck than I did.
