My brother seems to be doing really well so far not gonna get my hopes up as i know its so easy to relapse, hes been clean off the "h" since last week, hes been on the subutex hes gone up from 2mg to 4mg as he said the 2mg wasnt holding him, so since taking the 4mg hes doing ok, hes like my normal little brother again, him and my dad have been doing things together, which i think has helped my brother and my dad has benefitted from this too, my mum has finally realized what this is all about now, she thought it was a phase till i frightened her with what could happen, not a nice thing to have to do, but she needed to know.
Its nice to see my brothers eyes back to normal, hes eating much better, didnt have much of an affetite buts hes finally getting there.
I had some suspisions yesterday when i walked to the local shop with my daughter when i saw one of the smack dealers hanging round there in his car, i watched him drive off then my brother appeared from the shop, i do believe he scored, he did say he didnt have this guys number in his phone i searched his phone and the number was in the contacts, looked through dialled calls and recieved calls but the number wasnt in there, so a good sign but im not nieve, he lied about even having the number, so hes bound to lie and say he hadnt scored.
Had a talk with my hubby last night and he has said to me i cant go on like this as its making me ill, i cant sleep through worry for him, but today i woke up and think its his life hes ruining and as much as i want him clean its down to him nothing i can say or do will change anything, and i wont be fooled into believing him.
Shell, I il keep you in my prayers.......evenif he is still copping,he must have cut his dose drastically to appear ok lately........He is blessed to have the supprt of his family and hopefully he will take advantage of that blessing and not abuse it....All we really can do is pray..........Please try and not make yourself sick over it
thanks very much MsTres i really needed to hear that, really appreciate ur kind words
Hi Shell
What a lucky guy your bruv is, I'm a long time addict, over 30 yrs and I've had the support of family throughout, I know I've been selfish, untruthful the lot but looking back so grateful they were always there to help.
Your bruv may not appreciate your whilst dealing with the cravings but I'm sure when he is through the worst he will realise what an Angel his sister is. Sometimes its harder when it involves family but I do agree that you shouldn't make yourself ill.
Take care of yourself and well done to bruv.
Peter
