Thought you could hide out on weekends, huh?
:)
Met a recovering alcoholic priest from Boston today and confessed, in private, that I am a graduate of BU....
LOL
How ARE you?
OMG!! skg, I have a looooonnnnnnggg family history with BU. My mom has worked there for the past 25 years in the law school, my sister is an editor in BUs publications office, all three of my sisters went there, and my dad was president of the board for 20+ years! I managed to escape the BU lure and went north to St. Mike's. The older I get, the smaller the world becomes. So were you in these parts when you met this man of the cloth?
Been following your story of finally taking a deep breath and becoming a sponsee - how's that going? I must say, I thought you were doing just fine without, but if you think it will take you to the next level, then go for it. I always read you and Zac, it is an uplifting thing for me to see you both so happy =)
I just returned from VT's NE Kingdom and a weekend at Jay Peak getting our place set up for the season - 6 inches of snow on the ground already. Things here are good in general, skg, thanks for asking. As always, it's been a pleasure chatting with you.
Peace~MomNMore
PS You did know the Sox won the World Series, right? Remeber that nasty looking B, well it's even bigger now =)

LOL!!
No, he moved down here quite a while ago, but he's still got that horrible accent! ;)
I've never set foot on the campus, but got my masters conferred. They've got a campus in Heidleburg, Germany to serve military members. Can't wear the regalia down here, though, because of those who've walked these streets before...
~wink~

That's exactly it--I wanted to mae SURE it sticks! Frankly, it had been going just fine and when I started I almost thought I'd made a mistake, stepping backwards as it were, but I'm glad I did. I'm very independent so it's not like I need to rely on my sponsor, but I feel a bit more like I'm getting the full-meal-deal. It's more robust and this guy's an MD, so he's got a bit of an academic posture on things. It's all good.

I have to force him to grin, but yeah, he's getting it...

That's WAY up there--up in Algonquin country, isn't it? I'm from down around Woodstock, Springfield, Okemo, etc.
Glad you're doing okay--keep coming back!
