I am having a good time here ,as Zac said staying in a house with lake and mtn veiws, fire going bloody awesome!

Vw....I totally forgot about your offer a week or so ago to meet you and Ginge. You are an absolute doll. I was really considering it at first but I think I need to get to know people a little more first. I have a real problem flaking out on people. I am sober and I still flake out on my friends I've known for a ever. I talked to Steven about going and he thought it would be good for me to meet some sober people and make new friends. He did quickly point out that I shouldn't make plans unless I was absolutely sure I would go. I'm not, so I didn't accept the invite. The mere fact that you thought of me made me smile though. Thank you for your kindess. I will pass this time but perhaps another time. I know there won't be another chance to meet Ginge probably and I hope you don't take that as any kind of an insult Ginge. I'm sure you understand though. Please tell us of your fun meeting at Starbucks and the many stories and laughs you will share.
VW....have you finally recovered from the Round-up? You were a busy busy girl for a few days. I read some of the posts and it really sounded like alot of fun. One of these days I will have to commit and actually go to one of those shindigs. Sounds like alot of laughs.!

Valarie, I totally understand...I have a bit of trepidation meeting with someone off the internet (no offense Ginge), however, I've been chatting with Ginge for a long time now....so it will be okay, and my sister might meet us there. If I ever make it down to CM I'll let you know! Did you go to the Street Fair, I attended it in October of 2003.
I have recovered from the Round-up ~ I wanted to post a pic of me and my BF (from the AA Prom, j/k Banquet), but I don't want it to turn out huge - lol!
Well, take care of yourself, my plumbing went out when I got home about 30 minutes ago...so I may have to drive over to my Sister's house to use the potty! Oh well, not drinking over it and that's a big deal for me!

Thanks for understanding VW. No I didn't know anything about a street fair. Is that something AA related or is that the Orange County fair you were talking about? I haven't gone through AA with this round of sobriety so I am out of the loop!
Hey, here is another reason that it is good that you are sober. I don't know about you but when I used to drink any kind of booze I always had to pee. With no potty you would be hitting the bushes somewhere close to your house! LOLOLOL LMAO! Have fun meeting Ginge.

Oh, the fair was the Costa Mesa fair (I think) ~ I saw it on the news. Yes, I just posted on the I will not drink thread...just what you posted about drinking and peeing. Too funny ~ I feel like I am camping in my apt...using bottled water to brush my teeth, etc.
OMG that must be a huge pain in the butt, brushing with bottled water! I just read the post about the potty too! LMAO. Too funny. I forgot about the other too. I used speed and it depended on what it what cut with, but most of the time it did the same thing. Instant laxative! LOL I won't miss that at all!!! You know druggies pads too! Never bothered to spend money on T.P.! It got to the point where I always kept some with me and a book of matches. Sorry for the graphic detail, it just cracked me up when I read your post and it reminded me of the bad ole' days!

Hey VWG Ginge is so much more in person than what the posts show Just picture your cudliest teddybear with tats on a harley and you've got him. He is a great fella and a credit to the many posts and emails that you all have shared with him since his first days of recovery.
