Hi all
just had the most horrible flu - sick 9 days and 7 of those couldn't get out of bed. Hideous. just reminded me of the worst hang-overs. I shake my head now at how I used to abuse my poor body. don't know that I could do that now.
I think if I picked up a drink now I wouldn't even last a few weeks....I don't think I could cope with the physical stuff, let alone the emotional and mental. Thank God for sobriety.
