I'm here! Still don't have my pc hooked up. I'm having problems. (as usual) You have to cross a wooden bridge to get to the house we rented here...and guess what?? The bridge broke!!! I must be the queen of bad breaks!! I'm way overdue for some good luck. I should win the lottery after all this!

A real wooden bridge "i thought those were only in movies" lol. Honest in real life i've never seen one.
Well, I'm going nuts with three kids here. Rob "my fiance" went to Tennessee with his dad on a fishing trip. My mom had cancer surgery today and it's my boy's 11th birthday. I have to take the kids to and from school about 40 min drive each way. I've not had my older kids a full week in the last 22 months. Man they are insane stressful. It's worse with Rob gone and the baby here to. I'm doing like the single mom to three kids thing they are 4 months, 9 years and 11. I like them being here i don't remember them being so darn messy lol. Everytime I leave a room it looks diffrent 2 mins later. I've gotton real anal about having a clean house after i got sober. Robbie thinks he needs constant attention and he's getting a tooth "ughh". I'll have the kids alll next week to while they are outta school for spring break, It's gonnna take some adjustments i'm real use to having free time i won't be seeing any of that. Right now my 11 year old is yellling to get on the P.C. I wish Rob was here so I could take 30 mins off duty.

Hey, Bryn, I am tardy for rollcall...with no good excuse as I do not have kids to chase around nor do I have a broken wood bridge to my front door. Though THE GIT is right...I was touring with Blue October this weekend (though they didn't know it). Two great concerts in Hollywood..got to meet the violin player's mom, got to see Rene Russo and Josh Grobin, got to hang out with Brittany and my pals, and got the Best Blue October show ever, as their families were there from Texas and they got their Platinum Album and they ROCKED THE HOUSE and played EVERY song I've been dying to hear live. If they come to your town....YOU BETTER GO!!!! Sadly though, the whole weekend EXHAUSTED me...I'm way too old for weekend concerts..still feel worn out. But it was worth it. Until next rollcall, behave yourselves...especially YOU GIT.

That was an amusing interlude - reminded me that there is life beyond nappy changes, feeds and attempting to fit in the housework. It took me until 2.30 this avo to make the bed and eat breakfast. Then I got roped into helping my boyfriend fix his outboard motor - I've got mechanical aptitude you know...
When I was pregnant, I couldn't wait to a) get roaring drunk, and b) smoke a big fat joint (maybe I shouldn't be confessing to such desires on an addictions site) and guess what - two weeks on and I still haven't done either. I poured myself a glass of wine last night but never got a chance to drink it. I ended up putting it back in the fridge, and it's still there. But hey, I booked our flights to the Isle of Man in May. 100 years of the TT this year, and it's going to be big. Maybe I'll even get a chance to see a few bands. The Stranglers and The Who are there this year. I looked to see who was playing on my birthday (June 1st) but it was only Ronan Keating and McFly, so I'll probably give that a miss! Saw Lou Reed there last year - that was pretty awesome. I got a friend over there who works as a masseuse in the film industry and she gets hired by all the big acts, so if I smile sweetly enough she can normally wrangle it so I get to meet some of the rich and famous. Rowanne was conceived on the Isle of Man, and she's got a load of people who are dying to meet her, so I'm going to enjoy taking her over.
And Z-G, what is it with men and fishing? My boyfriend, he fishes for a living, but what does he do in his spare time? Go fishing! He went today, but he was back before I got up - I got such a good baby - she lay in the bed next to me, stroking my back, no less, whilst I had a lie in. She doesn't even cry when she wakes up, she just lies there looking round the room, with this nosey expression on her face. She's so curious about everything, and looks so beautiful, and sweet when she's looking around her, all wide eyed and gorgeous. Her eyes have turned brown already. God, I love the bones of her... She has brought me so much happiness. Even her horrible daddy is totally smitten by her - I've caught him standing there watching her sleep more than once. She could melt the hardest heart...
