Hello everyone thanks for viewing my post and possibly helping me out with a anwser. So today i am happily 23 days from heroin, a nasty 2 year habib injecting myself everybother day i would say. I know nobody can relate in this section but my dad was a alchol lic also, been to 7 detoxs, 4 rehabs and 2 halfway houses, hes now 16 years clean. Long story short, ive been drinking around a 12 pack of corona everynight for the past 8 days. Im scared to ever go through the D/Ts again. How long till i pickup a nasty habib and will feel like s*** for days to come. Now i wakeup fine. Go to work handle buissness but by 4pm im drinking and half in the bag by 7
Please stay away from all kinds of addiction. Talk with a good consultant who will give you a better advice.
I know what its like to go down the H road. Been there. Before and after the H it was alcohol in a serious way. Are you asking how long until physically addicted? I'm sure that is different for everybody, but in general it takes much longer than with H. If you keep up a 12 pack a day, I'd say you could expect some insomnia and sweating after a couple months. My serious alcohol withdrawal didn't happen until I did that for a couple of years straight. I hope you find your way. Try AA if you ever get desperate.
