Hi Everyone! Sorry I have kind of been m.i.a. for a few days. All is well with me! Just took my H. to have corrective laser eye surgery! Jiminiy has anyone ever seen that done before??? Holy Moly it was the freakiest thing ever! They actually slit his eyeball and flipped something up and wham bam he was done! I tell ya men are such weenies! No offense, Izzy, Ginge or Zac! You would think he was in for a heart transplant or something! LOL....he is resting comfortably upstairs now! LMAO..Thank God women are the ones who give birth because if it was up to men, the human race would go extinct!!! Not that I would know I have no children...but still I know I am right! LMAO LOLOLOL!! Oh yeah....side note......when he was done the Dr told him to take the zanax provided and he would rest the whole night. I piped in, "Oh he has a really high tolerance so he is gonna need more than one!" The Dr. said, "Oh don't worry one is enough." So we get out to the car and my H...says, "Nice job Valarie....you didn't care if I was comfortable you just were gunning for a zanax for yourself!" I said, "You know it baby!" We both just laughed! I guess you had to be there but it cracked us both up! Hope everyone is having a great morning or night wherever you may be.

Heya Val, good to hear from you. Too funny about your H, I definitely don't think it's a coincidence that the powers that be left it up to women to bear children, most men would never be tough enough (no offense again to Ginge, Zac and the other guys on the board). I remember a time when my 6-foot-5, 280 lb brother got a splinter in his toe... I've never heard anyone whine so much, LOL, he was always a baby about pain. I've thought about that lasik surgery, I've had crappy vision since I was a kid, but the thought of them cutting into my eyes really is kind of disturbing.
How are things in CA? Or are you in Nevada? Or is the NV house just on weekends? LOL I'm a little confused...

But you are right I have to lie down for blood tests,I nearly faint everytime!!
And when you have a crook liver they are regular,thankfully my liver has repaired itself and I have gone from blood tests once every 6 weeks to 3mths and now every 6 mths, well no more till I hit oz again,that in itself makes me want to stay in canada!!!

Hi Bella......We work in California mon-thursday afternoon and then we go to the NV house thursday-monday morning. We consider the Nevada house our Home though. You sound like you are doing well! Glad to hear it my Colorado pal. We leave for Montrose/Telluride on the 18th for a few days. It should be fun!

My liver took 6-8 mths the first time in 1998,
then I abused the s*** out of it till 2004 and last check up was 3 mths ago,alot better but not back to A1 yet,
shouldnt be far off!
Im here on a one year work visa,hope to stay longer,

Hey Ginge i suppose we are the weaker sex, although i wish i had a monthly excuse to get cranky (and be aloud to or else) LMAO and i wish people would open doors for me because my a*s wiggles nicely but hey I'd better stop now as i have to get tea and do the washingand i don't want to be bit*h slapped for not doing my jobs LMAO.

OMG Zac....you're killin' me! LMAO......I was just reading your post and picturing you in that wizard hat with an apron on folding laundry! Too funny! You are right about some things though. I don't want to be equal to men. I don't want to go to war and fight, I don't want to work out in the summer heat doing hard construction work and there are so many other things I don't want to do. Some ladies would say I am setting the "movement" back. Well that is just my opinion. I also work the ole PMS alot. Hubby falls for it everytime. Now that I think about it, I am quite the weenie. Good thing that women have the babies and good thing I decided not to have any! I could never do what moms do. I have enough trouble just taking care of my hubby!LOL...take care Zac
