Hey Robbie,long time no talk.Hope you're staying clean mate and have picked up a bit of work since the last time i came on the forum which is a good few months ago i think.There doesnt seem to be a lot of Brits on the site any more and all the names have changed all but a couple.Whatever happened to Ctink and Julie,it seems like them two were addicted to this site and each other.
I'm 5 weeks clean from a huge relapse,got back into my old wicked ways in a big,big way doing 100 of speedballs a day but back on track again my councellor has upped my methadone script to 70ml a day and boy is that helping or what.He kept telling me that recent tests and experiments have shown that meth actually reduces cravings and blocks some of the high depending on what your dose is...the higher the dose the stronger the effect.I was always dubious about going on a high dose of meth because of the awful withdrawals but nothing else seemed to stop me from using so i'm up to 70ml a day and i get very little cravings if at all but now i can deal with them.I had to try a stab a few weeks back just to see if it did block the feeling and f*** me it did just that.The way i see it mate is anythings better than being addicted to that s***.Listen Robbo i'm gonna hit the sack soon bruv so post back ASAP and let me know what's going down.....Regards Chris

alright chris,mate im London Irish if u can get that,newish 2 the site,but not to green to have got anything from it.robbie v.sound guy,am clean of brown&benzos for 4 wk. now ....but as yerself am on 70ml. per day,on a weekly.before i might have been slightly cynical,but no more ,over the last few wks.this site has given me the kick up the arse i needed only 2 much.best wishes yerself.....davey

yeah, gave up benzos myself. No fun atall. When you got started I knew it would be hard. 4 weeks though is almost home. It takes a bit.Beck
thanks again ,becks,yep nearly there with the brown&benzos.i know the wknd to come aint gonna be easy ,but am v.determined.for me so far not touchin,the smack was hard but after the 1st 3/4 weeks the mental cravings r getting less,but the benzos ,jsus...have been a daily mental grind[on them solid for 7yrs/smack/12yrs]and im afraid its not getting that much easier.had a work type drink up last nite&was real tempted to get a few blues&glide around nice,n,easy for the night,but thanks to u&others i didnt,yeh and me.all the best....davey
Yo wazzup Dazza my man,i've been sending you emails but they've been coming back to me unopened,have you changed your email address and if so email me with your new one so we can catch up on some serious music gossip.Nice to meet you Davey,i'm also half Northern Irish and half German but born and lived in South East London all of my life.How you coping with cravigs on the 70 ml of meth dya find that it helps?I'm gonna stableize on the 70 for a few months and if alls going well maybe go onto subutex when i'm on a low enough dose or detox down to zero on the meth,we'll see how my recovery's gettin on but i found that when i was on only 30 ml of meth i was relapsing all of the time.Weekends are a little struggle but i try to keep as busy as i can to take my mind off of things and it seems to be working.Let me know how things are going for you Davey.

chris,mate nice to meet ya nice...,im on a long term [6yr]meth.script,hav,nt really thought of reducing[70ml holds me ok.]wanted to knock the brown&benzos on the head,forever 1st.but for me i could,nt have done it without the meth.so ive been clean off them for 4wks. at the mo.newish to the site,but got alot of positive stuff ,from it which really helped.our main man robbie was a great help,lots of wise words,sound bloke .again good talking to ya. p.s.was born in Stockwell&was brought up rnd,Denmark hill/Camberwell area anywhere near yerself?....all the best mate ...davey

ahhh 7, how fun. I kinda remember it. I have 2 huge 16 yr old boys. 17 in Aug. And 7 was a bunch of fun. But I love these teen years too. yep,becks 7yrs she is just the best.im in the kinda reverse situation of being a single dad.sians mum sees her/sleeps over maybe 1wk. every month,long story but my x is what u might say is not a v.giving person emotionally.we have an o.k relationship for the sake of my daughter,but Sian has always been with me&between me and my mum we have a good little routine for her.teenage yrs.am not to sure what my feelings/dreams/plans are yet but the yrs.run away dont they?today becks is a good day im clean&have sian near me asking ;dad why u on that puter alot recently;my response is im talking to some good people...this is gonna be followed by the usual stream of questions,u know im sure ..the WHY word..great innit....see u Becks thanks a mill. davey
Oh yes, I remember why, why. Also what's this, what's this? It's great to see a father so involved. My x is pretty good, sees them most Sat. nights and takes them to church on Sun. They play in a trio at a few of the local churches so it's even a paying gig. Having a teenage girl would be very different from teenage boys, I imagine. I'd be even more of a nervous wreck with girls. Mine went to their 1st drive-in movie with friends last night. No adults. I don't smell alcohol so it's all good I guess. Sian is a lovely name.
