Hey VWGirl it has all been said in the posts on friends and families board, my love and energy goes out to you. Your daughter has the seeds of recovery and addiction planted in her being and all you can do is say i love you and picture her in your outstretched hands and god surrounding her with his love also.
Sure you will be there as a Mum, just rely on your sponsor, Partner, friends and meetings not to be there as a addict.

Thanks everyone. Just taking it one day at time...relying on my HP heavily and trusting the process. I chatted with Idgie via email and told her I know my daughter is on her own path and her own journey. She has her own God too. I am still following through with direction from my Sponsor, and at the top of my direction is to take care of myself. Today, and I say just for today, I am holding my daughter accountable for her actions and tonight she is home with me and even made me dinner (boxed mac n cheese). I am reminded that most likely she is an alcoholic and she has a disease, but that doesn't excuse her behavior. I pray that she is healed and that she hits her bottom sooner rather than later... so, privileges have been removed ~ I've contacted her school yesterday and today...and have conversed with her counselor and coach. I have a call into one of her teachers, a young lady, who I think may be able to talk with her. Her Dad and I have a united front, finally, and he has a court order that we obtained on Friday which says he has visitation at his home with her from Weds - Fri...so with that I'll sign off...I hope all of you are well and happy in recovery and sobriety...despite the difficulties of life there is nothing better than sobriety and recovery...this is very difficult for me to stand by and watch my daughter's situation, but with the tools of the Program and God, it is manageable, and do-able...I know longer have to obliterate myself with several bottles of booze and a bag of coke....feeling this stuff is hard, but I know that pain is the touchstone of growth. So maybe I'll spend a little less time here and a little more time in quiet meditation for now. You all take care of yourselves....we only get one shot at this life; it's not a dress rehearsal! You are worth it!

When you meditate if the subconscious is chattering away about your daughter try a few taped or talk through meditations to help take your mind off the chatter, if there is any.

Thanks for the update...you and your family are in my prayers daily...
I understand how difficult it is to watch one of our children struggle with this disease as my oldest is on his own journey...I take it one day at a time, pray to my HP and take care of me and hopefully, someday, he might follow my lead....
